Unbelievable. I hope he can redeem himself and find a way back to the team. He potentially has a serious career ahead of him.

It involved a hotel worker.

Why does the team stay in Ft. colons the night before for a game at 8:00 p.m.?

"False Imprisonment" can be a felony or misdemeanor. I'm assuming his case is not a felony or he would be in jail. From the internet:

Is False Imprisonment a felony?

In other words, false imprisonment can be charged when the restraint, confinement or detention lasts for only a very short time. A violation of Penal Code § 236 can be charged as felony or a misdemeanor. When defendant uses actual or implied threats, violence, fraud or deceit, a felony is usually charged

Pretty much the same reason they stay in a hotel the night before even on home games. Its supposed to prevent poop like this from happening.

Top 4 talent on this team. His loss is huge. The hope now that he didn't do something bad enough where nobody wants to have him. I was hoping already he didn't think he should declare for the NFL draft this year. This may answer that

No. Channel 9 Denver reports:

A spokesperson for Fort Collins police said the incident involved 21-year-old Youhanna Ghaifan and a hotel guest, but did not provide additional information

A guest. A maid wouldn't report it because she wouldn't want to risk getting deported to Mexico.

If it's true, he blew a great opportunity, and let down his teammates and fans. If it's not true, it is a sad statement about our society.

A "guest". I wonder if it was a hooker who wanted more cash than he had. Or part of a CSU coed team sent to "tire out" Poke players, and this one wanted out because she didn't like the size she saw. Just speculating, you know.

Could be even more trivial than that. If he grabbed someone's wrist or arm while they were leaving that counts as false imprisonment.
