Not sure TVW is the answer.

Agree. Anyone at UW that could walk-on and catch a ball? Even catching the ball half the time would be a major improvement over our scholarship receivers

I can’t believe you all are putting this on Vigen. We have a qb that isn’t throwing well, receivers that don’t catch and a walk on at rb now

Philosophy, yes. But Bohl and Stannard had the same defensive philosophy and we see how that was! Bohl needs to wise up, man up and make a change. Vigen has proven to be a crap coach. This team needs help . What more do we have to see. He's a fool

Agreed ...this turd might be a bit outside of coaching at this point.

There is some rationality.

Vigen IS the QB coach...

As for the WRs, yeah. That's a problem.

If they pull Chambers, Okwoli needs to be pulled too. I think our other receivers are fine, but he couldn't catch a cold.
It’s all about trying to win this game. TVW gives us the best chance. Chambers should be back in as starter against UNlV.
As much as it pains me...maybe you just leave things as they are and take the lumps in this one...start the conference season as best we can.

This appears to be what the coaches have chosen.

I honestly don't think there is an answer at this point. They know that Chambers can only hurt you with his legs....

As soon as we lost our RB's there is not an OC in the land that could make Chambers and these recievers into any kind of a threat.

I suppose you could get clever and put in a FB and run a triple option. If I was forced to roll with chambers, the walk on Rb and was coach, that is what I’d do. But I doubt there has been any practice of those plays and formations.

I think this is on Vigen. Game plan's probably fine, but he's 100% at fault if our QBs can't throw and our receivers can't catch.

These guys are by far our best recruits. That SHOULD show. Almost all of them had P5 offers, and even if they hadn't had them, there should still be some of them that had a tiny bit of skill showing at this point.

Is it a coincidence the only good receivers we've had in the last half dozen years came in under a different coaching staff that they learned from?

Offense woes are injuries and lack of d1 talent in key positions.

Defensively, secondary looks lost. That unit is not well prepared for today. I'd put that on coaching.

Triple option? With what, walk-on RBs? With players that never practiced it? Come on.

It's the overall offense. It's trash. No matter the receivers year after year they're never open. There is never any good holes to run through. Every yard we gain has a difficulty of 10/10. Other teams have offenses that get receivers open, create holes to run through, keeps you guessing etc.. I don't know how you can't see it's not execution, but coaching. Wholesale changes are needed. A top 10 NFL QB struggles in this offense ffs. But yeah, let's just keep the same coaching staff and suck. year after f year

Who says it's all on vigen? But what about our offense for the last many years has impressed you? This isn't a 1 game thing. This is a 6 year thing.

Vigen is responsible for recruiting an offense, including the wide recievers. Vigen calls the plays. Vigen is the qb coach and in charge of their development. Vigen is in charge of the overall offensive training plan (qb touch throws, wide recievers training).

Vigen is in charge of the offense. What part of the 128th of 130 teams passing offense is he doing well with in that list? In the end he is responsible for how the offense performs and he has failed consistently for 6 years and counting

DEfense is fine. What do you expect with the position the O has put them in?
