I think that it looks great. My only question is - why do they have three tunnels leading into the joint - especially the huge one that seems to overwhelm that corner of the AA? Also, are they going to allow students or others to stand behind the chairs on the floor? Will it be filled in with other chairs? If not, I hope that they cover the floors so the key lines don't show. Finally, looking at the pictures reinforces my hope that they replace all of the seats to match the lower bowl. Otherwise, it will look a little janky.

The one big tunnel is so that they can get a truck in and out for when there are events in the AA.

Speaking with Tim Collins, there are supposed to be two rows of floor seating opposite the players/coaches. First row = $5,000/seat, second row = $2,500/seat. I see no way that they would allow students to stand behind the premium floor seating.

The AA is a premium facility now. Easily top 10 in country - locker rooms are incredible. Better than any other MWC school excluding UNLV's Mendenhall Center.

Thanks for the information on the tunnel - makes sense. I forget that the AA is used for more stuff than BBall.

As for the students standing on the floor, I probably thought that because that is what the rendering showed. I am sure the type of folks that will sit courtside won't want to have to endure what the students will be spewing.

There was the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert a couple years ago, but yeah. Needs more stuff like that.
