Disappointing by Hernandez. He had beaten Meeks multiple times this year. Now the focus is 3rd!! He can do it and will likely have to face Meeks again to do it!

McCade Ford and Brandon Richardson should be commended for their wins. They weren't exactly the favorites in those matches.

Very disappointing for McCulley to go 0-2. I thought he stood a good chance of finishing in the top 8. He still has 2 years of eligibility left although.

Cox is doing very well. Good chance if he wins his next match to qaulify for "All-American" that he faces Sprenkle of North Dakota State.

If Cox and Hernandez get on a roll, can still finish top 20.

COX is an All American!!!!

He now faces familiar foe Sprenkle of North Dakota State (who beat the #3 seed McDonough out of Iowa). I just had a good feeling Cox would be facing Sprenkle.

It is worth mentioning that Cox beat Sprenkle in their last matchup by decision 6-2 (at the time considered an upset).

Sprenkle is a tough draw.. Tyler's gonna have to be on his A game to win that one.

Everyone is a tough draw when it comes down to the final 8. Sprenkle and Cox are the lowest seeded wrestlers remaining in the tournament at 125.

Alfonso - 7th
Cox - 8th

Slightly disappointing tournament; however, 2 All-Americans is still pretty damn good! Congrats to those guys! Cox still has 2 years of eligibility left!
