Just saw on Twitter that Shakir Smith and Patrick Martinez were dismissed from their respective teams today as they were arrested by Laramie PD. This should be an interesting story..

Bummer I knew Patrick and thought he was a cool kid. I wonder what happened.
Was shakir with leonard that night of his arrest or was that someone else?
I wonder what he did. Any links on it?

If you ever need to laugh, just remember there was some idiot who wanted Bohl fired after 2 seasons.

Smith was arrested for larceny, Martinez for conspiracy to commit larceny. Incident happened on Sept. 29.

Martinez was ranked #20 by one poll at the end of last season. That will hurt the team.

I don't know the details at all either, but it is a bit surprising that Martinez was kicked off the team considering this quote from the article "later this afternoon, a police spokesperson said Martinez will not be charged with consipiracy to commit larceny."

Conduct unbecoming to the University...covers a pretty broad spectrum...its a tough call, but Branch is a damn good coach, and I wont second guess him Too bad for Martinez... but I'm sure Branch is acting in the best interests of UW wrestling.
Just wishing that the same sanctions might be contemplated for the adults at UW who act (or fail to act) in a manner unbecoming to their roles in furthering the interests of the University.

I am not a gamer, videohead, etc., but...
Anyone know what an Xbox costs these days? Appears to me that it costs roughly $100,000...and then some.

Branch/shyatt did not wait 9 days to do something, unlike the AD that laxwyo is, in love with. I bet you sleep with a picture of Tom Burman!

I bet you jerk off to a picture of Paul Roach every night before bed time. Seriously, enough with the Burman bashing! Feel free to contribute something constructive on the board sometime.wyoming fishing wrote:Branch/shyatt did not wait 9 days to do something, unlike the AD that laxwyo is, in love with.
