You are a frustrated Broncos fan.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2023 2:13 pm I'm mostly a Josh Allen fan. I'll admit it, but I have grown to really like many of the other Buffalo Bills including Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Matt Milano, Stefon Diggs, Dawson Knox and more. I'd consider myself a Bills fan.

I have never put up with phonies. 99% of those on this board are Broncos fans period. Once in a while you will get a Pats fan like me or a Seahawks fan. But Broncos fans litter this place. Save the I'm now a Bills fan crapola it sounds so childish.

I was never a Broncos fan. While I liked the NFL, following Buffalo has been the only time I've had an affinity for a pro team.

I never truly had an NFL team either. I followed Chargers because of Malcom Floyd and because LT was fun to watch. Between John Wendling and Eddie Yarbrough, I also paid attention to Bills, but never really "cheered" for them (just like I didn't start cheering for Detroit when Wendling went there). Those three just happened to be some of my favorite all time Wyoming players.
I definitely cheer for Bills now because of Josh, though. I don't think I could care any less about the Broncos, though I totally understand why people in the area are fans. It's a lot like religion: it's almost always based on where you were born/grew up.

So happy Josh is tearing it up after week 1. Great player and mentally tough! Great example for young people no matter their walk in life.
For the Bronxos, I love it!! Wyoming people that are/were Bronco fans during the Superbowl years rank right up there with byu and csu fans to me.

Wyoming doesn't have a pro team in the state. So I never was a broncos fan anyway. I remember calling them the donkeys when they were playing the falcons in the Super Bowl in fact. I kinda liked the Steve Young/Jerry Rice connection. And actually, I did always thought the Bills were interesting before mostly because of Chris Berman.
Bottom line is though, Denver shot themselves in the foot by passing on Josh in the draft. Idiots. He was basically a hometown kid who would have transformed the franchise and they botched it. Now they'll never get my loyalty unless there is some Wyoming great who goes there and has some success.

What am I missing. Did I not get the memo. You mean to tell me I can’t cheer on the Bills because Josh Allen is playing for them? Really!

Sounds like you're just a disgruntled Broncos fan. If you live in Wyoming, Utah, or Colorado, you're only allowed to cheer for Broncos.Itsux2beaewe wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2023 8:55 pm What am I missing. I do not want to hear it. The only way you are a Bills fan is if you were a Bills fan when Nathan Peterman was the quarterback. Short of that please shut up because you hardly even knew there was a team called the Buffalo Bills. What is next? Josh Allen leaves in free agency or is traded to the Falcons and all of a sudden this place is full of Atlanta Falcons fans? Please!

I've been a Bills fan since they had a guy named Jim Kelly at QB. I'm happy to have the new crowd on board. If they leave when Josh retires/gets traded, so be it.PokesArePeopleToo wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 12:26 pm I do not want to hear it. Just out of curiosity....what is the room for a fan of a sport? Is there any room of a fan of the sport of football? people watch sports for all of sorts of reason. It sounds like you believe there is some sort of moral way to enjoy sports and you are the keeper of that.PokesArePeopleToo wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 12:26 pm I do not want to hear it. John Elway saw Josh Allen come back from an injury to play for his team one last time and dominate in a "meaningless" Tater Bowl in person and passed up on him anyway. He was right down the road!

Elway was an idiot! He could have been a genius and this one decision sealed his fate as a failure GMPoke in New England wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 6:16 pm John Elway saw Josh Allen come back from an injury to play for his team one last time and dominate in a "meaningless" Tater Bowl in person and passed up on him anyway. Oh wow, you mean we can actually be Bills’ fans? I was starting to worry what I was supposed to do on Sunday.PokesArePeopleToo wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 10:07 pm We should take someone else's advice and let this one go.

I’ve actually suspected that Elway saw the incredible athletic talent of Josh Allen and was worried about his own legacy if Josh Allen were to pan out. He really is a vain guy.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 6:59 pmElway was an idiot! That theory has been discussed frequently on the Denver sports talk stations, especially by those reporters who covered the Broncos the year Allen was drafted.OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 8:58 amI’ve actually suspected that Elway saw the incredible athletic talent of Josh Allen and was worried about his own legacy if Josh Allen were to pan out.
