I would be much happier if we were getting votes at the end of November instead of early September. Even so it is nice to see.

Keep doing what they did and not only will the Pokes get votes, they’ll be ranked in November.

Nah, we've gotten a few votes here and there over the years, at least in the Coaches Poll. Just from what I remember, 2017 Preseason Coaches Poll, 2019 Coaches Poll after beating Mizzou and Texas State, 2021 Coaches Poll after the 4-0 start.

Might be the first time since 2016 for the AP, though. I'd have to do some major digging.

Rankings don't mean a whole lot. When they do, the ones that matter are the CFP rankings that come out in about 6 weeks.
