Looking for some thoughts on a Silver Coin I have. It is a coin for the WYO, UCLA game in 2004. On side shows the Wyoming bucking horse with WYOMING COWBOYS LASS VEGAS BOWL CHAMPIONS around it. The back shows the Las Vegas Bowl logo with the text WYO 24 - UCLA 21 December 23, 2004 around it. Coin is also Numbered 01084. The Coin Shop here in Cheyenne helped design this coin. The owner of this shop told me there was only 500 coins made. I am looking to sell this coin to some one that can enjoy this coin. I do not have any were to display it. The coin is 1 troy oz .999 fine silver. I am looking for suggested prices or offers.

thanks for the help

Well, silver is about $30 right now.. outside of the design of the coin you could probably get $40-50 out of it..

Pretty damn sweet wouldn't be surprised to see people bid it upwards of $100. Not for the fact it's silver just for the fact that was an awesome win and great memorabilia for it.

I'm not going to step on mwcfan's toes. I'll definitely take it if he doesn't want to pony up $50, though. I can get you the money right now via paypal if you want!

I'm thinking either the owner of the shop is trying to pull a quick one, or didn't know what they were talking about, as I'm pretty sure a coin wouldn't be stamped with the number 1084 if only 500 were made.

Well I would agree, but I'm sure that is what he said. It is the coin shop here in Cheyenne. The owner is who I was talking to. He also helped design it. Feel free to contact he, it's the only coin shop in Cheyenne.

Just came across the full set of these coins. Consists of 2 silver rounds (one gold plated) and one bronze round. #44 of 500. If anyone is interested in the set let me know. I bought it for the bullion content, but if someone wants them as a collector I will part with them.
