Wow, 1-11!! A 10 PM MTN kickoff on the islands and coming off a convincing win...I am very afraid for this game. I'll take a 1 pt win!Poke in New England wrote: ↑Thu Oct 27, 2022 11:04 am Figured it was time to dust this off.

Bohl is happier winning 14 - 0 than 41 -21. As a fan I prefer decisive wins instead of down to the wire games.

I know Hawaii is in a massive rebuild right now but honestly this game scares the sheet out of me.

I like us in the game but by around 10. Just win the game, who cares what the score is.

They beat us 38-14 in late November in Laramie last year. If that does not get your attention, they lost by only 2 points this year at SDSU. This game feel like a trap and Wyoming has a unfortunate tendency to play down to the level of lesser opponents.Wyokie wrote: ↑Thu Oct 27, 2022 2:23 pmSame here.PokesArePeopleToo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 27, 2022 1:23 pm I know Hawaii is in a massive rebuild right now but honestly this game scares the sheet out of me.

Or just flat out not show up....If we just play down to their level...we could still come out on top in an unsatisfying victory. I've seen us lay giant eggs too often in this position.

We come away with the win. It might be close, 3 - 7 points, but Pokes win.

They beat us with the same San Jose quarterback that whooped us, they don't have him. They also allow just about every running back to shred them which is our strong suit. Just keep pounding the rock.

I watched videos of them boarding the plane in Laramie headed for Hawaii and it says business trip...looking at the attire for the trip what kind of business is this gonna be? Looked like monkey business as far as I'm concerned. Very concerned about the "getting them ready" to play for Saturday...hope they pay attention in practice Friday. I've listened to many Great Poke vs Hawaii games overnight in years and we've always struggled...hope it's not a Halloween type performanceWyokie wrote: ↑Thu Oct 27, 2022 2:23 pmSame here.PokesArePeopleToo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 27, 2022 1:23 pm I know Hawaii is in a massive rebuild right now but honestly this game scares the sheet out of me.

SDSU is not good. Their 2 wins are 2 pt@ home against Hawaii and 23-7 @ Nevada. We're taking care of business this time.

You are spot on about SDSU. They are not great at all. I think they were supposed to be decent coming in from the preseason, but that didn't hold.
Hawai'i is terrible and Nevada is the worst team in the MWC, so not saying a whole lot about SDSU.

SDSU, hawaii and csu all have offenses that make us look like a mike leach led team.WYO_Fan_inPA wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 6:23 amYou are spot on about SDSU. They are not great at all. I think they were supposed to be decent coming in from the preseason, but that didn't hold.

Bowl eligibility on the line, still in the running for a division and conference title, having a running back to exploit their weakness, and DQ playing healthy along with Peasley finding his legs a bit as of late and having tight ends that can catch and the occasional open receiver......I believe we get one in Hawaii and in emphatic fashion no less. They will show they are in it to win it.
Pokes take it 38-13

I'm right there with you but I should probably go 31-17. I'd love for us to score 38 but we definitely would be sticking it to them if we did. The type of offense we run, unless we break big runs after getting a lead, makes it difficult to score lots of points.
