I’d be surprised if this works well. Dickert was blessed with great timing. Hazelton leaves a pretty good defensive team to Dickert and he parlays that into a Washington St gig. Being the head honcho is a completely different monster. I’ll say he’s fired after 3 years and goes back to DC somewhere.

He took Wazzu to a 7-5 record this year when that team was facing a lot of turmoil including winning 3 of the last 4 and a drubbing of rival Washington. I'd say he has adjusted to being the head honcho and produced relatively impressive results at the Pac-12 school that typically is last in recruiting classes.laxwyo wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 7:24 am I’d be surprised if this works well. I believe he went 3-2 after the other coach was fired over his vaccination status. That's still a good season as the underdog of the conference. It will be interesting to see how he performs moving forward.OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 7:41 amHe took Wazzu to a 7-5 record this year when that team was facing a lot of turmoil including winning 3 of the last 4 and a drubbing of rival Washington.
