No one said he had to be perfect. And not a single President has ever been perfect either. But when the guy in office suggests to inject yourself with disinfectant on national television, then you know you have someone with more than "just bad tweets" for issues.

So, nothing to say on that? Just "well, you watch CNN!" Which I don't. It was literally on every network and a ton of youtube channels, left, right, and center. And that's just another example of a "Trumpism". It was actually pretty funny to see his defenders come out with some BS about it, only to have Trump come out and make THEM look like idiots too.

I think he's referring to how you took Trump's words out of context like the liberal gotcha media.

From transcripts it is pretty clear Trump was citing studies of things that disrupt the viral particles and speculating about potential future treatments based on those findings.

Anti-Trump media seized on it, twisted it, and soon fed it to a bunch of people to lazy to read and decipher for themselves.

Trump says and does and a lot of stupid crap. The lysol and uv light comments, however, were spun out of context.

Fromolwyoming brought it up: Disclaimer - never ever ever DRINK any disinfectant in your home. Do NOT use it on your body.

Trump is not a leader - he is a divider. He may be able to command the TV ( i doubt if he gets re-elected that it will be any better). This guy does nothing but divide us all.

I'm a long red republican, and unfortunately, we have experienced 4 years of something that probably means we need a constitutional amendmend to fix (maybe noboydy over 70 can be in office??? eff if i know.)

Now we got this biden character running against him? Come on democrats - guy needs his name written in his underwear to remind to keep from losing it.

We need a good third party!

Yes some of our ancestors dominated. It doesn't make it okay. Here we are at a crosscroads - trying to make things right. It can't be done either. We (the population) bettter try though.

Why? Because we are good people. And if we aren't, we deserve to get our asses kicked - and we probably deserve the violence.

However, i don't think it should ever come to that.

See that's a problem. You're telling white people that they succeed because of skin color. You're telling my buddy who lost his right leg in the sandbox that he owes someone for his success that he received from a gi bill. You're telling my cousin who cousin who served 2 tours, went to college on a gi bill, and owns a successful business that his skin color made him. Amen, brother! I agree with your post 1000%. Some of the stupid s%#t I said and did in my teens and 20's - if only I could get it back. But we get older and, hopefully, wiser. Things change, and we need to change with them - or be left behind in a sea of bitterness. Although I was (happily) born and raised in Wyo, educated at UW, I have been able to experience a bit beyond that, having served in the Army, lived in several big cities (east coast and midwest) and spend a fair amount of time in Europe. There's a whole big world out there, and yes indeed, times they are a changing (and need to). To try to keep a society like some mythical 1950's dream of white privilege is not only wrong, but counterproductive to our country being the best it can be. Accept the change - it's going to come whether you like it or not.

States' rights are the only way out. You want to feel bad and pump a bunch of money into something go ahead. You don't like your state, move. Take less federal money out but states do what they want.

Quit forcing a national liberal agenda on everyone or vice versa.

You know why I'm laughing? The very next day, after many Trump supporters said something very much like what you did, Trump himself claimed it was all sarcasm. That he said it in a "very sarcastic way".

Nothing to do with Russia, or possible medical procedures. No "misrepresentation" or, "So what you're saying". Just him claiming something stupid one day, and then the next, try to say he didn't mean it to save face. Its all there on video.

Deaths? Sure. Hospitalizations? Once again, those are skyrocketing, now in other places besides New York. A number of hospitals are already hitting max capacity, and then some, in these areas. And sitting at 130,000+ deaths (and still going up) and nearly 3 million confirmed cases, this is still not something to simply brush off.

Though that is technically correct, many hospitals were near capacity with non-covid issues.

Hospitals don't make money with empty hospital beds, after all. Of course they run at a certain (high-ish) percent of capacity at all times. Those hospital administrators have to make their $$ for sure.

Yep. Another strike against for-profit healthcare. Not that there's a straight-forward path to getting away from that, but still.

I seriously don't see a way we could possibly have some form of healthcare for everybody in my lifetime with just how much money is involved at every step. Specialists make like $350k, which is 4-5x more than in other countries... but they likely have $200k in debt from schooling, so of course they have to have a way to pay that off... and that's just a minuscule part of why healthcare is so insanely expensive here.

Oh well.

May want to read the full quote from the CDC:
Based on death certificate data, the percentage of deaths attributed to pneumonia, influenza or COVID-19 (PIC) decreased from 9.0% during week 25 to 5.9% during week 26, representing the tenth consecutive week during which a declining percentage of deaths due to PIC has been recorded. The percentage is currently at the epidemic threshold but will likely change as additional death certificates for deaths during recent weeks are processed.

I know what your saying. There is nothing that pisses me off more lately than being called racist. I'm white. I'm not racist. I don't give two poop about whats going on around me. I have goals, and I keep aiming for those goals. I miss regularly, but that fine. It happens. Try harder next time.

I've always thought everyone in this country is equal to each other. I've recently jumped out of the box and said - well f-word, let me hear your story. I've heard plenty of stories. People deserve to be treated equally. The biggest problem we have right now is we have many classes of people that need brought up to our level. They have been trying. They are also weighed down by several hundred years of weight. Thats no way to treat anyone.

In the post civil war era, we were going to give every black "slave" some land. That would have been great for them to contribute to the economy, etc. Instead, we just tried to suppress them more. Hell, the south enslaved their children after black slavery was illegal. Is that not a red flag?

There were a bunch of solutions available in 1865 that aren't available today. But what we can do is listen. And we can help our fellow humans out. Equality for everyone! And we need black lives to matter!

We all owe our success to the society we live in. We are all in this together. Your buddy that lost the leg, we should help lift him up when he needs it. Your cousin does owe every bit of what he has done in a successful business to society. I run a successful business. Part of it was me, the other part was what everyone would buy from me.

The old saying - a high tide lifts all ships. I'm all about bringing in the high tide. I'm a capitalist. I'm an american. If you treat every American like your brother or sister, well then we don't have a problem. Every part of our society exists only because we allow it to exist.

A big part of our society needs help. We need to help them. The only point to life is living - not money. Lets try to get along on this planet and live long and prosperous lives.

I don't like your views basically because your happy to put a $1.00 in your hand over a persons life. Yet a $1.00 is just some goddamn thing we made up in order to make trading easier. In my world, your either dead or alive. And we must always protect our alive people. Why? Because they are one of us, they are why we exist. They are human and deserve our compassion.

Anyways.....toughen up Wyoming - round 2 is coming to get us.

...We are talking about the guy in the White House, right? The one that claimed to "grab 'em by the pussy!", politicized medical masks?
Yep. BTW, about his "grab 'em by the pussy" remark, that was said long before he ran for office AND we all said similar things while in the showers after P.E. class or a game.
While your probably right, we all said a bunch of dumb Sh#t at some point in our lives, at some point most of us quit because we are hurting people. No point in that. At the end of the day, I'm all for equality amongst everyone. I also realize we have a debt to repay - I'm not happy about the 160 year debt, but its right. And there are a bunch of indians that should jump up and demand some rights and privileges to.

Thanks for the supporting post. Its a big world. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is life or death. We deal with that every waking minute. We could change our economy to trade in cows. Trade in silver. Trade in bitcoin. Don't matter - it usually comes down to a unit of labor or a product of value and how to compare the two.

Life or death. That's really all that matters. That's why we need to support Black Lives Matters -> those guys have had such a bad track record just by living - and then end up dead. That's not okay.

Support life - thats all we got. And we got plenty of people willing to end that for us.

Quit forcing a national liberal agenda on everyone or vice versa.
Where does money live at? It doesn't live anywhere. Its made the f-word up. All $1.00 is is me saying - hey this rock is worth $1.00. Will you buy it from me?

Money doesn't f-word matter. Lives matter. We've done a hell of a job of killing millions of people over the mighty dollar.

Capitalism works. Blind capitalism does not.
