Will all this mean that the Shyatt defensive emphasis will now be a thing of the past?

I think Linder said if you can't shoot the three you won't play for the Cowboys, or something like that. I don't know if we'll deemphasize defense as much as emphasize offense. Having said that, it's not like our defense was stellar during the Edwards era!

Having Riley Grabau as Director of Recruiting, this is a big deal since he has ties to Colorado, if we can convince players from Colo that Wyo is better, we'll have an even better way to use Colorado as a hotbed even moreso than ever before for recruiting, good hire and can't wait to see the results, happy time, this new coach knows how to build his staff and keeping it localized regionally is all for the best!!!

I don’t care if we run the damn triangle offense and play zero defense as long as he wins games. I’m glad to see a coach who understands that to beat a team you have to out score them. Never understood why shyatt and Edwards were so adamant about defense.... what’s the point of holding a team to 45 points if you can’t score 46....

Linder has said that defense, especially on the perimeter is going to be very important for his team. I believe I saw somewhere that his teams had some of the toughest perimeter D teams in the country. That said, he has said they'll shoot the 3 a lot. I think he'll do it smarter than Edwards did, as he had one to the top pick-n-roll teams in the country last year...moving the ball and people to get others an open look.

Listened to a recent interview with Robinson and a Minnesota media outlet. Mykell says he is currently 6'-6"/6'7" and around 215 lbs. He's also had recent interest and contact with Virginia Tech. The ex-head coach at Sunrise Christian is now on Pitino's staff at Minnesota.

Looks like a good pickup for Linder and Co., if they can pull it off.

Linder and company are going to have a hellacious few years on the recruiting trail. Balancing classes on this team is going to take a while due to the mass exoduses we saw the past couple of seasons.

Linder and staff looking at Iowa State transfer Zion Griffin. Griffin also had offers from Kansas, Pitt and Illinois out of high school. Pokes in the final six for his services.

He's from Texas so that isn't really that big of a surprise. On to the next one.....
