Breaking...Nevada's QB Malik Henry (featured on Last Chance U) will NOT be playing against Wyoming so he 'can focus on life and academics.'

I was looking forward to seeing him. Wonder why they announced it now? Should have kept us guessing until later in the week

Damn! Our good attendance is going to take a hit this weekend with the weather forecast. Up to a foot of snow and strong winds Saturday night through Monday morning usually closes the highways.

The weather this fall has been unbelievably bad

With a noon kickoff, with the exception of wind it shouldn't affect things much if everyone is able to get home prior to the storm making its appearance. But then again I could be severely wrong.

Nevada has 42nd ranked rush D but it's a smoke screen. They are allowing over 4 yards per carry (way more than other teams ranked this high); they just had some pass happy teams and poor running teams so far. FBS games they won were against the 129th, 93rd, 127th ranked rushing offenses. If teams were prolific passing teams or could run the ball, games weren't close.

I've got POKES to cover. I'm guessing 17 to 21 point W.

Nice analysis. I just looked and saw they had a good run D so I thought it would be a replay of the New Mexico game. Strength on strength with us grinding out a hard fought game. I feel better about it now

I do hope our pass D holds up, though.

I'm confused. My phone tells me that the game kicks off at 11 a.m. Mountain standard Time. Yet the press release says it's a cake off at high noon. What time does the game kickoff in Laramie?

Definitely a noon kickoff.

I think you're right. Noon kickoff and the game should be over long before the storm hits, giving people plenty of time to get back home. I can see this being another 20K+ attendance game. Anybody planning on staying in Laramie Saturday night is gonna have trouble getting home on Sunday though.

Pokes should put up 30 and hold this Nevada team to 7. Nevada simply can not score against great defenses like ours. Plus, Nevada has no heart. They go belly up whenever things get tough for them. They are exactly like UNLV so this wil be a walk in the park.

I think you nailed it for the wild card in this game (pass D). I'm hoping we get enough pressure up front to take the pressure off the secondary.

Now that was a perfect call vigen!

He has shown promise as a play caller, just mind bumming how conservative and predictable he can be at times....

Why on earth wouldn't they challenge that? That totally was a catch. Even with the one angle you got on TV you saw that he clearly had the hand under and that it never touched the ground.

No wonder Nevada's so terrible.

Obviously I'll take it as a Wyoming fan, but I still can't help feel bad for their receiver.
