He probably won't be known as one of the greatest UW RBs of all time, but he's putting together one of the best single seasons ever. Kind of out of the blue. Too bad he's a senior. What are his NFL chances?

I think he'll get at least a camp invite. There are already scouts at our games because of our defense, and I'm sure they take notice of his cuts, how he hits the holes, AND how he breaks the first tackle and frequently drags people for a few extra yards even when he's wrapped up.
Probably doesn't hurt him that he's one of the most productive runners in the country, either.
And that's with him missing 2 1/2 games.

Wish he would have been getting carries last season

Yep. Trey Woods would likely still be a cowboy.Poke in New England wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 1:27 pm Wish he would have been getting carries last season

Really like the way he runs and going to miss him. He's had an awesome year despite every opposing team keying on him.
Overall weak draft class for RB. Best hope is senior bowl and combine invite. Hope he gets to do both, but I'm guessing ufa at best.

Alexander made at least a practice squad for a while, and while he had that huge CSU game, nico is certainly a better back than he wasragtimejoe1 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 11:43 am Really like the way he runs and going to miss him. He's had an awesome year despite every opposing team keying on him.

Nico has had pro scouts following him this year. I've said in another thread about a month ago that he fits the new mold of NFL back better than Brian Hill. Absent injury, I do believe he will be on an NFL squad next year.

In spite of the Bohl player development program, he will get a good look after the Senior BowlMcPeachy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 2:18 pmYep. Trey Woods would likely still be a cowboy.Poke in New England wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 1:27 pm Wish he would have been getting carries last season

Do you think he gets drafted? I think it hinges on senior bowl and potentially combine. Even then, I think it'll be 6 or 7 at best.OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 4:51 pm Nico has had pro scouts following him this year. I think he has a shot to get signed as an ufa.
