Sorry, I just don’t see it. Maybe one win against SJS.

Pretty easy for a defense to prepare for UW. Just play run defense and on third drop back in pass defense for short routes. Offensively, we suck.

Don't forget that our offense only scored 6 vs Hawai'i. Granderson helped outscore the offense on a single play.

Sorry guys, recruiting rankings aren’t perfect but when you’re consistently ranked in the 120s there too I think it says something about talent.

Our receivers were actually pretty well ranked recruiting-wise, though. Just like our quarterbacks.

Meanwhile, we have plenty of unrated and 2 stars on our defense. They were part of what brought our draft class rankings down. Hall was 2 star, Cassh was a 2 star, Hull was a 2 star, Granderson was a 2 star, Prosser was a 2 star, Wingard was a 2 star, Ghaifan was a 2 star, Wilson was a 2 star, and so on...

Our six 3 star receivers all had other FBS offers, including a few P5 ones. Meanwhile, our defensive guys were hardly recruited at all. We were Ghaifan's only offer, for example.

The irony of your comment is that Burman hired Bohl because we were losing recruits to Bohl at NDS. But I guess out recruiting Wyoming was not that high of a bar. It reminds me of an old Barry Switzer quote. When asked who was the better coach, he or Jimmy Johnson, he responded: "When I had the better players, I was the better coach. When he had the better players, he was."

You’re cherry picking a few examples. Yeah some guys had other offers but I’m talking the recruiting as a whole. As a whole we’ve been ranked very low.
