NM @ WYO

Damn! Not a shutout! How do I sleep tonight?........................................................................................................................

Well, special teams were pretty awesome. Zaleski's punts were good enough that our guys were right there on the coverage, and we capitalized twice with turnovers. Not too shabby.

Our defensive line, though. Did not expect them to get that kind of pressure all game with how thin they are!

Honestly granderson looks like an NFL defensive end sometimes. I think his talent will translate to the next level.

Shhhhhhhhh.

In all honesty, the scouts in the stands watching Allen are definitely noticing him as well. I just hope he doesn't decide to declare early, even though that's a real possibility.

Fun game! it was cathartic to see the offense score points even if it was gift wrapped to them by the defense and special teams.

Take that Davie, you jackwipe.

Fort is obviously athletic and reminds me of Hollister with how he runs. Hopefully he can learn the nuances and become a big weapon. We should only pass it to Price and whatever tight end is in, imo. And we should never even attempt running. like ever. unless it's Josh.

Receivers are finally catching the ball well, but strait up give up on plays, though. With Allen the play is NEVER over and they give up a lot still. You should be able to get wide open after 7-10 seconds

As was mentioned I'm not sure Woods is the answer at RB. He doesn't look good anymore and really isn't all that fast, quick, big, violent, crafty,etc... If we must run I think Overstreet is the answer.

Also. Our punter sucks. The NM punter (and basically every other punter I've seen this year) is light years better. Our punter has such a weak leg.

Why doesn't Conway catch punts!! Drives me nuts. How many did he actually field last night. like 1/10? What's the point if you NEVER catch it? get someone else back there please

Every other one probably isn’t a true freshman either. Stats say he has a 62 yarder last night.

Yeah, I think our punter will be fine. His punts have improved from early in the season and while he hasn't added a ton of distance, the hang time is enough that our coverage unit gets to the punt returner when the ball does now. Our kicker was a true freshman last year and awful at times. This year he's been way better as well, even though I hope he'll keep improving too.

Hopefully we're not going to wait until they graduate with getting replacements, though. Would be nice to at least be able to redshirt punters and kickers so we don't have such an incredible drop in efficiency upon graduation.

Our punter doesn't have the strongest of legs and had a shakey start, but I feel real good about him and this position for the upcoming years. He getting better. Yesterday he averaged over 40 yards per punt, dropped 3 inside the 20 (which hurts your average, but helps the team), NM had negative yards on punt returns, and for some reason NM had a hard time handling his punts. He basically gets an A for this game.
