Allen only completed 56.2 percent of his passes in his college career thus far. If this trend continues through his redshirt junior season Josh will have the second worst accuracy of any top QB prospect since 2012, only ahead of Penn State’s Christian Hackenberg and his 56.1 percent completion percentage.
That's pretty dismal when you say it out loud. Now keep in mind I think he will improve on his completion percentage, but it won't be easy as he's breaking in a bunch of newbies at the skill positions

Breaking in new weapons could mean more shorter passes, which helps completion percentage.pokefanchaz7 wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2017 6:57 pm Allen only completed 56.2 percent of his passes in his college career thus far. Despite being 89th in FBS in completion percentage, Allen was ranked sixth in yards per completion (15.33). Compare that to Washington State's Luke Falk, who was 2nd in completion percentage, but 108th of 109 in yards per completion.
I said it sucks.....to be.....a CSU Ram! #GoWyo
How is Falk's number out of 109 when theres some 127 teams?joshvanklomp wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2017 2:03 amBreaking in new weapons could mean more shorter passes, which helps completion percentage.pokefanchaz7 wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2017 6:57 pm Allen only completed 56.2 percent of his passes in his college career thus far. Makes sense. Just wouldn't think it would be like 20 guys that don't qualifyAsmodeanreborn wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2017 2:09 pmI'm guessing there's a minimum # of passes threshold that some teams' QBs haven't reached either because of style of play or injuries to one or more of them.

Josh had a great interview on BleacherReport (Matt Miller's podcast, "Stick To Football") today!
What a good story. I cannot wait for next season. He sounded pumped about the Iowa game.

Josh Allen is one of a select group of college quarterbacks who have been invited to serve as camp counselors at the 2017 Manning Passing Academy!

The hype is bringing attention to Laramie this year for good or for bad. This will help other players showcase themselves (like Wingard) as well. Get the Oregon win and UW will gain some needed attention after years of doormat.

Was watching a college football show on ESPN earlier tonight. They were doing a segment on Pac-12 QBs. Todd McShay went out of his way to mention there's another QB out west who's pretty good and that's Josh Allen of Wyoming.
