Nance update

Lakers are getting a ton of exposure with Kobe retiring. Virtually every week we get a chance to watch Nance develop. I do like what Scott is doing with his minutes, limiting his volume of activity. When he hits the floor starting last night immediately he goes 3/3 shooting, a slam off a flash feed and establishes a defensive presence on the boards and with a steal. Man, the thought of him being over-rated in that thread last year has been put to rest. If Larry can remain healthy, and by appearances he has regained his superior jumping and timing on the ups presented thus far; he will be the greatest Cowboy warrior of all time. Loco over the "Space Cowboy". Keep it up LNJ, we are cheering voluminously.

Watched the game last night, Nance played very very well even tho the counting stats don't necessarily show it. He probably could'a had an even bigger game in the steals department, but it looked like he subbed himself out early in the 4th quarter, and a trainer was working on his leg on the bench, and he spent the rest of the 4th quarter icing his knee. Hope he's just sore, and nothing problematic.

I love that Larry is making a name for himself.

This offseason will be huge for him. Can he improve his game to the point where we go from saying "Larry can play" to "Larry is really good"?

It would be sweet to see him scoring some more. That will come with more experience, and maybe a little bit more size.

Not playing tonight, but I'm here.

Nance has been continuing to climb the NBA's rookie ladder.

Basically the NBA's rookie beat writer agrees with Byron Scott's words on Nance Jr being a lottery pick. Has Larry listed as the 7th best rookie in the league this season. This is beyond what any of us expected and is so so awesome. He's looking even more athletic then we got to see him at UW, which shouldn't surprise us after how he was starting to look his Jr season before the injury.

Did anyone catch this? It's a little old but awesome. Nance Jr is one cool, loyal, and humble dude. Bonus style points on this one.

Nance hurt his knee. That is why he didn't play in the last game. They did tests on it and everything came back negative. It is diagnosed as a sore knee. Not sure how long he will be out for. He may be playing in the next game.

This article said he was done for the season, that's why I was surprised.
