I don't think so. Burnett was before Welniak, if I remember correctly and the guy I was thinking of was after Welniak. I think I must've been thinking about Wallwork, but somehow it just didn't seem right...oh well.

I won't even be 21 until July.
Though on topic, it was still just his Freshmen year. Not belittling his achievments (probably cheered as loud as anyone at the NMBowl during that game abd so on), but I would give him at least 1 more year ot see where we go.

I said it earlier and I'll say it again. ACS needs a conference championship to be considered in the best ever. Welniak is the perfect example, he only played ONE year, but because he won a conference title, he is one of the most remembered Cowboy QB's of all time.
