I would argue that we should take notice of the lack of D1 talent in the state before we start complaining that there aren't any Wyoming kids on the roster...
+1

This. I wish people could watch, in person, side by side, a Wyoming high school football game versus a Texas high school football game. They'd understand after that.
Lol anyone who knows anything about highschool football would not want to watch that.
Not saying there is a ton of them but I think there are a couple. I have been a Simpson fan since he was in high school. The kid was selected as the best athlete in the state and he is a walk on? Come on, if you are going to scholarship kids reward the ones who stick it out! One or two would do wonders for the old timers and the fan base. I agree though you have to choose wisely. so far they have not!

Good seeing Jacob getting some attention. I think he'd fit in well over the hill

Curious that Tevis Bartlett from Cheyenne East is not on this list. Wonder if he was not invited, didn't want to attend, or was invited but had prior engagements.

I believe the coaching staff will be inviting other prospects/recruits to Laramie during April for a couple of weekends. Some had prior engagements.

Anyone notice how it's typically the linemen talking about how hard the workouts are?
That is GOOD!
That can mean that Bohl is turning a bunch of softies into bad ass tough guys. That could mean DC never worked the linemen the way they needed because he always thought MWC talent was "below" him.
Or a combo of the two.

The line might not be good, but we won't be bad!
If you ever need to laugh, just remember there was some idiot who wanted Bohl fired after 2 seasons.

As Tapscott mentioned in his tweet, Duval's workouts will make these guys as mentally tough as they will be physically tough. This can do nothing but increase the collective confidence level of this team moving forward.

On a side note, word has it Duval already has his youngest daughter (pictured below) pushing five pounds on the bench. (Slow down, Zach, slow down.)

Looks like Bohl has added another member to the staff before spring practice starts. Dom Mirocke (Offensive Quality Control at South Dakota State U.):

Basically, he's a film analyst, and seems to know what's what.

My son met us in Casper on Thursday afternoon for the state basketball tournament and he told me that the Thursday morning workout was the hardest thing he has ever done in his life. That is saying a lot coming from a kid who never backs down from hard work. He said the team was a wreck after that last workout. Coach D sent them home with a bang! I am convinced that this team is going to more mentally tough than any we have seen in Laramie in the recent years. Wardaddy just took on a whole new meaning in my book. Coach D is making machines out of these kids.
