FWIW, At 2.5 months out until the primary, here in the central Big Horn Basin, I see about 90% Harriet Hageman signs, with a few Mark Gordon scattered around. All of my personal mailings at my home in Gillette have been Galeotos flyers. My gut says that it will be either Galeotos, Gordon, or Hageman at the finish. With the Lummis endorsement, and all of his business endorsements, will Galeotos run up his numbers in the larger cities, and have more support along the I-80 corridor? Will Gordon have democrats and independents voting for him on election day? How enthusiastic is the support for Hageman? Who will be spending the most money? The answer to those questions will probably determine your winner.

Another month into this, and still not a fan of any of the runners. Maybe Gordon, whom at least seems willing to work with people that don't have an "R" next to their name.

To go on a slight tangent, Rod Miller talks sense. Hopefully he gets rid of Liz Cheney, the lameduck that doesn't even do her job.

Well, looks like Gordon is the likely new governor. I have a couple of friends who are acquaintances of his, and they speak highly of him (like calling him "a gentleman" and "intelligent") despite both being pretty liberal. I hope that's a good sign for how he's going to be if he gets elected.

Sounds better than the ones that claimed to be endorsed by Trump. Plus, his ads didn't try and bash on the other candidates. Least, none that I saw.

Yeah, attack ads suck. There's going to be a crap ton of them here in Colorado soon, I just know it.

Gordon was clearly the best candidate for the Republicans. Mary Throne shouldn't be overlooked, though. Should be an interesting race to watch. They're both good people, and I feel like they'd both do a good job. Will be interesting seeing their stances on key issues.

It’s amazing a guy who gave money to Bernie Sanders and John Kerry (socialist and liberal) and who served in the Sierra Club gets the GOP nod in Wyoming. SMH

He's also served as Treasurer for the last 8 years, didn't sponsor any attack ads, and served his office well (conservatively fiscal).

I hate that one can't have their own opinions rather than sticking to your political party 100%, or you're suddenly a terrible human being.

Kasich got a ton of crap for reaching across the isle and also admitting he thinks humans have an impact on the climate.

Tribalism is not always a good thing.

And not that long ago, both parties were compromised of liberals, conservatives, and moderates. Now, Heaven forbid you don't tow the line, else you'll be labeled, well;

Conservative- Socialist, Communist, Anti-American, Take away all guns, etc.
Liberal- Fascist, Racist, Misogynist, neo-Nazi, etc.

Then making excuses for certain groups or people that, just because they have a D or R next to their name, despite being awful people in every sense of the word, doesn't help in improving how other side sees them. Its why I refuse to register in any party, and why I dropped the GOP party.

Yeah, I'm unaffiliated now too. I'm sick of what's going on and how everybody now refuses to listen to even facts that go against whatever they happen to believe in. Makes me sick to see lifelong servants of this nation painted as part of some big conspiracy just because they believe in doing their jobs properly no matter what they happen to find out.
