Montana basketball player nominated for ESPY

Pretty cool.. I think he was one of the only college players nominated for an ESPY.

Former Griz basketball star Anthony Johnson has been nominted for "Best Individual Championship Performance" at the 2010 ESPY Awards.

Johnson is up against some of the biggest names in sports for the award, also nominated are: Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints (Super Bowl XLIV), swimmer Michael Phelps (World Swimming Championships) and snowboarder Shaun White (Winter Olympics).

Johnson led the Griz back from a 20-point second-half deficit in the Big Sky Conference Championship game, scoring 42 points in Montana's win over Weber State.

The ESPY Awards are scheduled for July 14th in Los Angeles, Johnson and his wife Shaunte say they will be there.
