I didn't catch the score of the UVSU dual, but it looked like it may have been a slaughter.
Pokes defeated defending WWC champs Northern Iowa pretty handily, 26-12 or something like that. Ten Sleep's Kasey Garnhart had a SWEET come from behind win, started the match down 5-0 after a lateral drop, fought back and won with a series of great takedowns. LeBlanc was strong with a 15-0 technical fall. Michael Martinez won on an injury default.. he was handling his opponent pretty well but it looked like he dislocated his shoulder. Great win for the Cowboys, they are in the lead for the regular season title in the WWC.
And thanks to Wyo2Dal for the great video stream!!

Wyo beat Utah Valley State 37-3. Only loss was Michael Martinez in a 5-3 decision against UVSU's #13 wrestler. Despite the unfortunate outcome against a VERY good Okie state team on Friday, this team is set up for a great finish with several wrestlers that should head to the NCAA championships.

Think they'll finish ranked at the end of the season? Because we also knocked off Top 25 Nebraska, and OSU, though they still won handily, from what I read in the Boomerang, most matches were only a matter of a point or 2.WestWYOPoke wrote:Wyo beat Utah Valley State 37-3.
