4th place in a strong field. Buchanan won at 197 lbs. Good showing.

As a team, basically everyone won a couple matches. Wyoming should be a good dual team this year.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 10:57 am 4th place in a strong field. Buchanan won at 197 lbs. Good showing.
Tate Samuelson was the 1 Seed but took 4th. Andrews also did not perform to expected seed and then injury defaulted I believe. But overall, have to be happy where the wrestling program is at. Buchanan is a legitimate national title contender if he puts together his tournament...he can beat anyone including AJ Ferrari.

Looking closer we under performed at a few weights. The ones you said and I'd add Job Greenwood could have had a better tourney and Hasting could have, as well. With a couple more wins from those guys we could have been vying for the title.OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 2:34 pmAs a team, basically everyone won a couple matches.
