Verner wrestled very well in the match! Got unlucky with a funky scramble at the end that he was unable to score on. He will be back next year.

Bridges dominates. He will face Gomez of ISU next.

Bridges has a tough road to all-american but he can do it! He will face Gomez of ISU who he beat at the Big 12s. Then, if he wins, he will face Desanto of Iowa for All-American. Desanto is the biggest punk in all of NCAA wrestling if you ask me.

I hope you haven't quit on the team because they have all wrestled with heart this tournament. I am excited for the future of this program losing only Ashworth.

Turner will face Kaid Brock of Oklahoma State in the 3rd round of Consols. Turner has beat him once this year and lost to him as well. The winner will face Shoop of Lock Haven to be an All-American. If Turner can knock off Brock again, I really like him to beat Shoop.

I agree. The least amount of upsets I can recall. Josh Alber of Northern Iowa (a 4 seed) is out of the tournament and those are probably some of the biggest upsets but he has looked terrible this tournament. Sam Stoll of Iowa has had some 'upsets' based on his really low seed but he is a returning all-american that has been healing from injury and noone is surprised by his wins.

Guess i just had to say it out loud to get a big upset. Undefeated #1 Alex Marinelli goes down to the 8 seed. Vincenso Joseph is probably smiling

Romero wins in overtime. Very disappointing finish to Ashworth's career.
