Shane Woods is still alive at 197. If he wins his next match against McIntosh from Penn State he will be an All-American! Everyone else lost out.

125: Cox - 1-2
165: Friesth - 1-2
174: McCulley - 1-2
184: Stroh - 0-2
197: Woods - 3-1 - 1 win away from All-American
285: Harms - 0-2

Wyo in 34th place as a team with 6 points. Obviously will get a few more if Woods continues to win.

Let's go Woody! Would certainly be nice to get another AA for the Pokes. It would soften the hurt of a very disappointing tournament. I guess one nice thing is that WY wrestling fans now expect top 20 finishes when before Branch that wasn't the case. While many things (all?) have improved, this program needs to figure out how to take the next step. I will not pretend to know how to do that but will leave it to the experts.

I want to congratulate and thank the seniors on great careers. Tyler, Dakota, Andy, Shane (let's get it done tonight!) thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to the program and representing the state so well. You will be missed!
