This just keeps getting dumber and dumber…you started a thread about complimentary football and then say we should’ve done nothing but run. That’s pure stupidity. If we didn’t throw the ball at all, even though we had abysmal results, our run game would’ve more than likely been worse than it was, not better. The threat of the pass, especially the deep ball, is important to keep the defense honest. It was very beneficial to the run game to have a receiver open down the field like we had early, even if Clemons didn’t complete that pass.
We all understand TOP and keeping the defense off the field. That only works when you move the sticks, something we fail all way too often.
What most of you don't understand is

Are we just gonna ignore the fact that AFA doesn't pass much (the extent to which can be debated, as seen, but is irrelevant) because they literally run a hybrid triple option offense?
You're comparing apples to oranges. The entire scheme is different than ours. Lmao.
Claiming that we don't need a better passing game because "wElL aFa dOeSn'T pAsS aNd tHeY sTiLl wIn" is ridiculous.

That and since the MW was formed, Air Force has finished first in the division exactly one time the same as us, and has finished behind us in division standings about the same amount of times as we have finished behind them. So mimicking them is not the goal. The goal is to win conference championships at a minimum and that is not what Air Force is doing with their schemeDamThatRiver22 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 7:21 pm Are we just gonna ignore the fact that AFA doesn't pass much (the extent to which can be debated, as seen, but is irrelevant) because they literally run a hybrid triple option offense?

Nor is Wyoming...The goal is to win conference championships at a minimum and that is not what Air Force is doing with their scheme
What is the difference between politicians and stoners? Politicians don't inhale...they just suck.

Yes, hence my lengthy arguments and posts on pretty much any thread discussing the offense. We need a passing game, a QB coach, and an offensive coordinator/plan that isn't handicapped by Bohls stubbornness. But the answer is not to go to less passing like Air Force as was argued in this thread.

Yeesh, I don’t know of anyone who has said we need to be like AFA , and EVERYONE knows that AFA doesn’t pass a lot, BUT THEY PASS, and at times effectively.DamThatRiver22 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 7:21 pm Are we just gonna ignore the fact that AFA doesn't pass much (the extent to which can be debated, as seen, but is irrelevant) because they literally run a hybrid triple option offense?

And the result of all of those: Offensive plays per game. 129th. It's like he doesn't want the offense on the field.WyomingAgJ wrote: ↑Thu Nov 24, 2022 1:29 pm Through 11 games some offensive ranks this year (out of 131 teams):
