Story from Cody Tuckers great 7220 website: "I know we just lost to the No. 19-ranked team -- and they're solid -- but it's conference now and I think we have a sincere shot to take it all the way."

I hope he can back it up with solid play the rest of the season, starting with a VERY important home game Saturday. We haven't seen his speed used much (he is the fastest QB in the MWC) - but that is probably a product of not having a back up that can field a snap. Go Pokes!!!

The offense is so up and down, hard to say. They can slice and dice a defense one drive (air and ground) and the next, well, struggle to get a first down. Peasley included. The ability is there, but not the consistency, not yet at least.

The defense is solid in run. The pass though, is not. Not for a lack of speed, as our DBs could keep up just fine, but the serious lack of experience is what has been the biggest killer. And there's not a whole hell of a lot that can be done except hope they learn sooner than later.
