This is shaping up to very competitive year. There are some good teams. Pokes season is going to come to down to Chambers play. His passing is getting better, but still has some high throws and he throws the ball to hard sometimes. Muma is a stud. Defense is opportunistic, X and Titus are studs and passing game is improved.
Fresno State looks like the best team so far, but there are handful of good teams.

The West division is salty. SDSU, Nevada, Fresno, SJSU are all pretty darn good. The Fresno game in Laramie will be a fun one

I've been down on the MWC in terms of strength, but this year has had some good wins already (at least we assume they were good wins---never know 100% until the end of the season). After a couple of weeks in, it definitely looks like the MWC is pretty solid this year. Hopefully, we get a team undefeated out of this deal which can challenge for the Access spot.

Insults are the last resort of fools with a crumbling position.

This year is going to be a blood bath.. even Boise at 1-2 is still going to be in contention for a championship. Wyoming vs Fresno is going to be an absolute defensive slug fest.

Probably wise to wait until more teams play each other before making sweeping predictions. But it does look like the league is more wide open than it has been in a long time

I agree, at least with how it is shaping up. Boise barely lost this past week. Nevada doesn't look bad either. There could be 4-5 WAC teams that make a bowl.

New Mexico State is the only current member institution of the WAC that can qualify for a bowl game. I don’t personally see that happening.

Spooky for sure. If the boys keep playing like they did last week and avoid letdowns on D, we could be sitting just outside the top 25 playing a top 25 team.
