Was placed on scholarship. Very well deserved. What a freshman season for the former walk-on.

Walk-ons getting scholarships are the best stories in college athletics.

Congrats!

Does that put two placekickers on scholarship? If so, that is not usual.

The answer is yes and no. The Cornell graduate transfer Punter/Kicker Nick Null entered the transfer portal again and has left the team. The other scholarship player Ralph Fawaz is listed as both a kicker and a punter, and, will presumably be competing for the punting job. The other ‘kicker’ Glassock is a walk on and is also competing for first team punter. So that puts us at 2 scholarship amongst kickers and punters, which is common. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Glassock or Fawaz to handle kickoffs. Null handled kickoffs last year.

Congratulations to this kid! I wish him the best. I hope he will make some memorable kicks for us.
