Wyo-CSU first meeting was 1899.
South Dakota vs. South Dakota State has been played since 1889.
Iowa-Minnesota has been played since 1891, but I guess this doesn't qualify as Minnesota is on the East bank of the Mississippi.
May be some others as well...

Sorry, but I don’t think that’s true. There are many rivalry games west of the Mississippi that are older. An article in True West magazine made that claim, but it is easily refuted.

Oregon - Oregon St 1894
Colorado - Nebraska 1898
BYU - Utah 1896
Iowa - Nebraska 1891
Kansas- Nebraska 1892

Too much winning. NDSU is like Alabama, but refuses to move up to play big boy football.
