Allen was 19 for 33 for 253 yards averaging 8.4 yards per pass, sacked 3 times for 16 yards and threw for one TD, giving him a rating of 101.1. I saw a stat that he is the first Bills player since Jim Kelly to throw for 200 yards in 6 consecutive games. Pretty ugly stat for the Bills but impressive for Allen.

The really ugly stat is there hasn't been a bills QB to pass over 300 yards in 32 straight games.

The work he has put in and the coaching he has received is obvious. He's making amazing strides that weren't noticeable before. Bills pegged that the deficiencies in his game were not limitations of his talent.

It is interesting how Josh is continuing a good pace of improvement while media darling Mayfield hit a sophomore slump. That class, at least for me, adds a lot of intrigue. So far, the Bills are right and the haters are wrong.

On a NFL forum I frequent, I was continuously mocked for hyping up Josh during his draft process. But now I no longer get major backlash when claiming he was the best QB in his class. He's making believers out of more than just Bills fans. Just think of the league-wide reaction when he beats the Patriots tomorrow!
