The MWC needs to be very pro active in improving the conference through Expansion, an alliance with the AAC, or maybe both.

#1- Add Gonzaga

#2- figure out if you want to make an alliance or if you can just break them without taking their east coast teams.

Houston is the biggest factor for the MWC.

#3- Houston and Wichita state

#4- Hawaii and BYU

Decide the other non football schools that have the highest ceilings

Denver
Long Beach st
San Fransisco
Pepperdine
?????

#? - decide on
SMU
Tulane
Memphis
Cincinnati
UTEP
New Mexico State
Idaho

AAC has teams with potential in big markets. They have some crap teams for sure but so does all other G5. If I had to pick 1 conference on potential from G5, I'd have to give the nod to the aac. I don't like them, but i think they have more potential to build several upper end teams than we do. In other words, the MWC isn't poaching the aac. Gonzaga had their chance and chose staying put.

Realignment will likely only be worse scenarios not better and there is nothing the MWC can do about it.

Insults are the last resort of fools with a crumbling position.
