I don't remember Bohl signing anyone from Texas yet. We've got four this year. Who are the best to ever play for the Pokes from the Lone Star State?

The Gipson bros were from Texas and so was Alvester Alexander. Brett Smith grew up in Texas. Not sure how old he was when they moved. His dad coached at North Shore HS in the Houston area.

Josh Dotson was one of the best players we've had from Texas. Would love to have seen him finish his career and still like watching him in the NFL.

Make that five this year with the new QB!

Maybe not one of the best, but a good & memorable Cowboy from TX was Chase Applebee.

Can't leave out Marqueston Huff. He was from Texarkana. He was one of our better defensive players in the last several years.
