Not the easiest to find if you didn't have the link from this topic AND you didn't see the random yellow text toward the bottom that almost looked like a generic text ad.

The first day he kicked for wyo it was like "well he will be the career scoring leader someday". I wonder if he's close and if he will make it. I tried to think of the best players on Wyoming and about 8 out of 10 are defensive players. Rothe imo fits somewhere 3-6 after only Logan Wilson and wingard for sure

I thought rothe sucked the first half of his freshman year. He couldn’t kick touchbacks and missed some fgs. He has only improved from then on and turned into one of the best in the kickers in the country. Go cooper

His only miss was on what would be considered a "windy day" in Laramie... guessing not many of the other kickers have to regularly deal with hurricane-force winds
Yes, I cringed when Bohl sent out the FG team knowing that Cooper was perfect up to that point.Asmodeanreborn wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 7:45 am His only miss was on what would be considered a "windy day" in Laramie... guessing not many of the other kickers have to regularly deal with hurricane-force winds
Here's hoping the Pokes put the game out of reach early against the Lobos, then only allow Cooper to attempt 20-yarders to pad his FG% lead over Szmyt and Tracy.

I believe Rothe is behind Sean Fleming and Cory Wedel as far as scoring leaders for kickers at Wyoming. Although I actually believe Wyoming's career scoring leader might by Ryan Yarborough. Had Brian Hill stayed for his senior season, he would have been Wyoming's career scoring leader without a doubt.Coeur d' Alene wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 10:44 pm The first day he kicked for wyo it was like "well he will be the career scoring leader someday". That makes sense... it's difficult for kickers to do well when you don't get within range of scoring because your offense is bad. That he's only had the opportunity for 16 kicked field goals is pretty sad. That's half the number of attempts Szmyt's had.OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 9:41 am I believe Rothe is behind Sean Fleming and Cory Wedel as far as scoring leaders for kickers at Wyoming.
This year’s Lou Groza Award winner will be revealed on ESPN during The Home Depot College Football Awards Show airing live from the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. ET.
Ten days until they name the winner. Here's another feather in Cooper's hat:
