Hawaii wanted to keep the Cole McDonald injury a secret. They went as far as sending some other guy out in warmups with McDonald's jersey. Have to give them credit for being innovative.

Rumor is that the "injury" was actually a suspension of sorts.

I don't have a problem with it. Be nice if our coaching staff could be innovative and think outside the box sometimes. Again.. definition of insanity

I had a chance to spend some time with HC Rolo after the game. Interesting to hear his take on the game. It was just by chance I ended up at the coach's tailgate after the game but friendliest fans and coaching staff I have ever encountered.
