Re: Sheep are PAC12 Targets
The only reason for the PAC to want CSU, is if Colorado leaves the PAC. In that case, they MAY want CSU to get the Denver TV market back into their TV contract negotiations. That's it.

Re: Craig Thompson Stepping Down
The conference is it's members - They employ the commissioner - They are the product - They are the brand The customers of the conference, at least these days, is primarily broadcast media. So if the conference is unable to get better revenue from it's media customers, then that is a reflection of i...

Re: Video of UW's 1988 game vs. UTEP (not actual full game btw)
I was at that one, too! It was insane. One of the thing the video reminded me, is that we weren't a pass-only team. There were a lot of great running plays. I was at both games. I was also at the 1987 game v; OSU where everyone thought Thurman Thomas was supposed to be their best player. I remember...

Re: Caash Mailua
Loved watching the sweet 16 and final 4 runs. The guys at the Buck were awesome. I didn't follow after those years. What happened? They're still going! I wasn't able to follow after I graduated, but here they are: https://www.facebook.com/UWYOmensrugby/ My son's U8 kid-pitch coach was a rugger at C...

Re: Caash Mailua
If you have dna rifle, watch the English Premier League matches there. I started watching the USA league and NRL (Aussie league) and the CSBC Sevens when the football was shut down in the pandemic. I would just google stuff to try to learn about it (and still do). What hell is this dna rifle thing?...

Re: Caash Mailua
For anyone who's interested, there are three types of rugby: Union, League and Sevens. Here's a comparison of Union and League: https://sqaf.club/rugby-league-union-differences/ Sevens is a totally different animal, seven players to a side, two seven minutes halves. They play an entire tournament in...

Re: AZ Bowl Game Info
I was all set up with the barstool app on the fire stick. But the app kept clocking and freezing when it came time for the broadcast. Ended up watching it via the silk broser, which worked OK, but required a lot of fiddling around to get full screen and sound working.

Re: That broadcast and bowl were a joke
I was actually pretty happy with the game, overall. Would have much rather won, of course. The broadcast got irritating. I love smack talk and hyperbole as much as the next guy. Heck, I even wear out my millenial coworkers at times with it. But even the "cast" was getting tired of their sc...

Re: Is Bohl Still Our Head Coach?
Even more to the point, I wish Wyoming was announcing his hire as our new head coach. If you watched his introductory speech to the CU players or his speech to the JSU players when he told them he was taking the CU job you will hear a message focused on discipline, teamwork and accountability. Cand...

Did the coaching staff actually say he would start the bowl game? He may have already been told he was going to be invited to transfer.

Re: Is Bohl Still Our Head Coach?
Deion is the perfect coach for this era but the worst to lead young men. If you’re a part of me generation where flash is above substance, you’ll love him. I’m not sure he’ll have what it takes to win a lot at that level. Saban takes extremely talented and most likely egotistical players and makes ...

Re: Titus Swen dismissed from Cowboy football
I think this idea that Bohl dismissed someone from the team because they were unhappy with a play call is kind of weird.
There is something more to it, and it's probably not good for Titus, sadly.

Re: New MWC commissioner
That would be quite an investment financially. In 2021, both UM and MSU had athletic expenses ~$18 million. The lowest expenses for MWC athletic departments were $34-35 million in 2021. So both schools would have to basically double their income. And that doesn't account for the additional expenses...

Re: Dome of Doom 2022.
How about making it so you don't see a gaping black hole every time the play is on the tunnel side of the court?
That's all I see half the game, anyway. The other half of the time I see really awesome empty yellow armchairs.
