Re: College Gameday in Laramie???
I can't believe I'm even considering this, seeing how as of the last few years I have been a pessimist when it comes to our football team, but here it goes...what are the odds College Gameday comes to Laramie next week? ***For all of you that are going to post 1 game/week at a time, I know, we need...

Re: I do wish our student section showed more class
I was born and raised a Cowboy fan and was always told we were rude, crude, and socially unacceptable. Its just who we are. Get over it.

Re: Utah State Officiating
I have seen references to the officials in other threads - but they deserve their own thread. They were absolutely awful. We touch a guy and it is either PI or a personal foul. They flapped their jaws, pushed our guys after plays, draped themselves all over our receivers, pulled down our receiver b...

What I remember seeing is that he took the ACT on October 1 and was just waiting on test scores before he committed.Cowboy Junky wrote:Is Raeshawn Roland a silent commit?
His twitter page certainly looks like he's leaning towards Wyoming.

Re: Massive, epic TRAP alert. Eastern Michigan is all that matters.
I just want to point out that App State finished 11-2 with a loss to Clemson and a loss to Arkansas Statr last year. So they were far from a crappy team. They also played Tennessee really tough and weren't awful against Miami this year. But back to Eastern Michigan. I doubt players are going to over...

Re: We did what we should have, it doesn't mean much....
The combined record of Northern Illinois and UC Davis is 1-5. Neither team looks like it's worth a poop. I think we can all agree that beating Northern Illinois was a good win for the program no matter what their record is. They lost to an undefeated South Florida team who has a legit argument to b...

Re: Nebraska Experience
Fans/people are generally really nice. I was impressed with their fans. Good people. I'm slightly biased in this statement due to my growing up in Nebraska but my dislike for most Husker fans has been proven in both trips Wyoming has made to Lincoln. As a 22 who went out with another Cowboy fan and...

Re: Coaches Hot Seat 2016... Where is Bohl?...
This comes from someone who has basically given up on Wyo. football. Not one poster mentioned what has to be the biggest concern for the Wyoming higher ups - attendance. If things go south and the stands are empty - like end of season UNLV empty - then I could see him being fired. The bar has been ...

Re: Coaches Hot Seat 2016... Where is Bohl?...
I think having him on the hot seat is real premature. He hasn't even had a recruiting class that is draft eligible so to proclaim him as on the hot seat is very premature. It has been three drafts since he was hired and just some quick information on that. In those three drafts, NDSU has had 4 playe...

Re: Kevin's Commentary: Craig Bohl
I think the biggest comment that stood out to me was his about how he knew last year was going to be a hard year. He mentions that the year before (his first year) we had a large senior class with quite a few junior college players leading to more youth the following year. So while many have jumped ...

Re: Eddie
I agree that he'll need to start as a practice squad guy and go from there. It will be interesting to see how he does when he doesn't get double teams like he did here and if he's able to show some flashes against a single blocker.

Re: Wyoming Spring Football News and Notes
I think having guys who are willing to come in and redshirt at the wr position is big. From what I have seen, it benefits them to sit and take the time to learn the offense as it is much more complex than most high school offenses. CJ Johnson is now in line to be one of our more productive wr's movi...

Re: HUGE setback for recruiting
Apparently the MWC vote was 7-4 in favor of banning satellite camps. Must be some heat because CT is asking for a confirmation. MWC commish Craig Thompson told me his league voted 7-4 in favor of satellite ban, but yesterday he sent a memo to the league asking them to make sure of their stance. &qu...

Re: Cowboys to scrimmage on Saturday in Cheyenne
It's expected to see the defense get the better of the offense at this point. It would be concerning if the offense was trashing the d. Sounds like J. Allen has a laser-rocket arm. Hopefully there will be many long Allen-Gentry TDs this year. Aren't they? We rushed for like 3.1 ypc and completed li...

Re: Conway as a WR
One area that people aren't considering Conway on the football field yet: How would he be as a returner? I thought this would be a great idea. He would be fresh for kick and punt returns and that would hopefully make him and us more dynamic. Plus he would hopefully be able to avoid big hits, but as...

:twocents: You know Hampshire, some people's two cents are worth a lot more than others, but yours is the complete opposite. Nothing you have said in this thread makes much sense. The kid has four years of football left and we already have our next four years OOC booked so we would never play them ...
