Re: breaking up the MWC
Kind of a ritual, if you think about it, Considering all of the MWC teams were at one time or another in the WAC. Except TCU. :thumb: Actually....Titliest, you're wrong on TCU. They were a member of the WAC from 1996 to 2000 before heading over to C-USA then, joining the MWC in 2005. I've studied W...

I miss Benny Dees. I met him during the 1990 Cowboy Shootout. I can see why he was a great recruiter. His Xs and Os were bad but....

Re: breaking up the MWC
The best thing for everyone to do is wait and see what happens to the BCS. If by crazy chance, the MWC does get the 7th automatic bid as some say then, BYU, Utah, and/or TCU would be crazy to leave. As others have said, the PAC-10 won't expand. You need a unanimous vote of all 10 schools and the Was...

Re: So steelbed58, what's the word with CJ
Thought he would committ. Talked to his dad during the weekend and he said CJ was having a great time. Did not hear from him again until Wednesday and i asked what went wrong. Apparently the player chaperones were the ones who told CJ not to go there because they hated it. Dad said a call into the ...

Re: MWC = Bowl Championship Trophy Winners?
Most native Hawaiians and most native Texans seem very similar to me. They're the biggest homers in sports, and no rational argument can sway them in any way. You should see the Okies down here. Holy sweet SOB are these people nutso on being homers especially OU fans!!! OSU are more normal and are ...

Re: MWC = Bowl Championship Trophy Winners?
And poor WAC has NEVER gotten anywhere near winning it!!!! Yet, my Hawaii friends STILL claim the WAC is as good as the MWC. You mention your Hawaii friends a lot.. I'm led to believe they're a little daft when following college football. A little? poop! More like outright drunker than a Wyoming fa...

Re: History of Wyoming Bowl Games
Here's the info on akll of our bowl opponents from the 1950s until 1976 since we already got the info for the Holifday Bowls to the New Mexico Bowl. All win/losds records are BEFORE the bowl game. 1950 (actually 1951) Gator Bowl: Wyoming (9-0, Mountain States (aka Skyline): 5-0, Skyline Conference C...

Re: History of Wyoming Bowl Games
If you want, I can find the win/loss records for every team we played in the bowl game that season.
Plus give Wyoming's own win/loss record for each bowl season.

Re: Urban Meyer stepping down at Florida
My theory.... He wants to be away from the transition year where there's no Tebow. Then after, say a 4-8 season or whatever next yr., Urban comes back like the Second Coming of God to everyone in Gainesville. Didn't he say that he's coming back for the 2010 season now? As of now, he wants to take a...

Merry Christmas to y'all!
We're busy trying to dig out of the major storm that dumped 14.1 inches in less than 24 hours. 40+ mph winds with gusts up to 60 mph yesterday. Felt like I was back in Casper, Wyoming yesterday. LOL
The snow broke several Oklahoma records.
