Re: Next stretch

Wyoming covers UNM easily. Rocky Long is gone and I'm sure Bohl is breathing a sigh of relief about that. Rocky had his number

Re: Wyoming at Texas

No. He wouldn't have been drafted had he stayed here. Do you remember our passing offense with Levi Williams? You don't get drafted when your qb can't hit the broad side of a barn. Disagree. He would have put up numbers about like this: 1,000 yards 10 TDS 15-20 yards/reception. Those are good numbe...

Re: Conference musical chairs

If the Pac2 is retaining P5 position it would make sense to absorb the MWC than vice versa... Who cares what the conference is called. PAC-14, oust the current leadership, Nevaraz brought in as commissioner, and a new media rights deal negotiated. Seems like a step forward.

Re: Like Clockwork - Season Derailed with Fall Camp Injuries

Seems to be a reoccurring theme. We simply don't have the depth to absorb these kind season ending injuries. Bohl comes from the Osborne Nebraska way.... tough practices and next man up... But the roster depth isn't there.

Re: WAC First down stick

Perhaps I was just imagining this.... but I swear remembering back to the WAC days the conference used a unique way to measure first downs. The first down marker had some sort of stick attachment that would fold out, they would measure the first down based on a marking on the sidelines, then they w...

Agree. Realistically it's not drying up; it's increasing but consolidating. I think it will dry up. Young people don't like sports nearly as much as older generations, at least in my experience. At least I should say young people don't like viewing and consuming sports as much You are correct, youn...

Re: Well, I had one of our press guys from Reddit press Bohl at Media Days RE: Off. Same response, different year. Lma

The current rules in football favors a passing offense. Period. Back in the day the secondary could really get physical with receivers and a safety would punish a slot receiver coming across the middle. Unless that changes, then I see no reason to put a running game first. With that said, it's not a...

Dax Crum looked amazing in practice
Speaking of Crum he went on to get a PhD in semi conductor physics or something like that.
Impressive and good for him. A true student athlete.

Re: Football Transfer Season, Part 2

It boggles my freakin mind that Wyoming wants to be a development program for P5. Why? Seriously why? Bohl is taking pride in developing players so they can leave and assisting them in that process. There is only one correct strategy: Recruit players from the portal as they can only use it one time ...

Re: Transfers...

CJ Coldon foregoes his last year at OU to enter NFL draft. I’ll be interested to see where he goes. His announcement was positive toward Wyoming and commented on how Wyoming took in a ‘young black man’ and treated him like family. If his goal was to get to the NFL he could surely do that at Wyoming...

I see that Alvester Alexander, I mean Brett Smith, I mean Titus declared for the draft. Best wishes to him, but man, sure seems like a mistake. Alexander made the right call at RB. Brett Smith made the worst call of all time. I won't be too sad when Titus goes undrafted. It looks like he has sure t...

Re: Undefeated in 2023?

Never know. With the portal, you could end up with 22 guys who play well together. With the playoff expanding a G5 team might find lightning in a bottle. Would you prefer 7-5 seasons or a 4-5 losing seasons and make the playoffs?
