Re: Fire Craig Bohl...
At this point, we are a program that loses talent. Bohl didn't create the situation that causes all of the transfer stuff but he is never going to be a beneficiary of it. The game has changed out from under him, simple as that. As Wicks points out...there is a problem at the admin level that whoeve...

I'm usually a optimistic homer, but betting on Tulsa only giving up only 3.5 sounds like a lock.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 9:11 am Home dogs to Tulsa, Wyoming +3.5. In year 9. Well done, Craig Bohl

Re: Easton Gibbs
Yep, statistically not too bad, with 9 tackles against a P5 team. Muma averaged 10 tackles per game last year, and his year wasn't too shabby.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 10:52 pm Outside of the first series I think he played OK. He had a ton of tackles. Everyone had some missed tackles today

Re: 2022 expections
4-8 Considering last year was one of our best teams in world history according to Bohl, what we lost on defense and the reality that Bohl's offensive philosophy is garbage - we will be lucky to get to 4 wins. And along the way, we get to lose to BYU (badly) and CSU. The trophy case will be empty, w...

https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/texas-tech-collective-offers-25000-nil-contracts-to-100-players-ranking-among-biggest-team-wide-deals/ I hope we don’t do this and get involved in the arms race. I’d rather we just drop football or even go to division 2 RMAC. For those that think the ...

Re: MAJOR SHOCKER: USC & UCLA to the Big Ten by 2024!!!
I don’t see a scenario where the majority of the MW end up with Stanford and Cal. It’ll be WSU and Oregon St. Imagine being a fan from cal and Stanford and now your games are against Boise, sdsu, Fresno and joser. They’d burn down the stadium. My guess on the Bay Area schools...Stanford heads for t...

Re: Bohl getting testy....
I think QB accuracy is a two-way street. Yes, our QBs have had much lower than desirable completion percentages from JA's final year to present. But, we also have a WR coach that has to be one of the worst in the country in coaching routes (and was just promoted). The scheme in no way puts our QBs ...

But it sounds like he is not too fond of studying and would have to major in Underwater Basket Weaving to stay academically eligible. Many out of state athletes are not academically eligible to get into Wyoming initially. They will start out on academic probation, an as long as they maintain a 2.0 ...

Analyzing those metrics might not be helping Temple on the field as much as they'd like, but it must be helping them get quality recruits. They have the most NFL players from any G5 program.

Re: Neyor to Tennessee
I love it. Get your best deal kid, everyone else is. The NCAA created this mess, by pretending to care about the athletes, while raking in tons of cash for these caring adults. The large universities have no issue with selling a hundred thousand tickets, along with tons of merch and food & bever...

Sitting here the morning after the college football championship having some thoughts. The topic of the overall trends in collegiate athletics as it pertains to Wyoming sports has pretty much consumed this board the last month or so. One of the themes that has bubbled to the surface is something li...

Re: College Sports Inequality - the Elephant in the room
Alright you law people out there (and I know there are quite a few), is it time for legal action in the way of a class action lawsuit to put a stop or at least some rules on this NIL garbage that is destroying the ability of the "small universities" that can't compete with the "large...

True, he can start making some money now, the SEC gets the most exposure, playing in warmer weather is good for a receiver, and their number 2 and 3 receivers are graduating.

Re: Trash talking the kids
A few commenters have had some unpleasant things to say about the kids entering the portal. Please remember these are volunteer student athletes. Who they marry, where they transfer to, none of that has any impact on our day to day lives. Tossing hate and vitriol at a 20-yr old because you’d rather...

Lol at the above assessment of kongbo’s career. A career backup on a bad team. CFL? Funny. We have guys in the NFL. I bet komgbo would have flourished here and made at least a NFL practice squad straight of college. Don’t know why it is not apparent by now, but we are really good at developing play...

Re: Bowl season wrap up and NC
SEC dominance continues...they are running some sort of semi-pro league down there. I too experienced the overall indifference to bowl season. I enjoyed the Rose bowl even if I did not really care about the two teams in it. What does it mean with the SEC being so dominantly better at the top than e...

Re: Do you think that
While I have no issues with players deciding to leave, for whatever their reason, I also feel it's probably best for the coach to not bring them back. It seems that you'd be asking for locker room drama. Especially if they start over someone that didn't enter the portal.
