The team showed up to play today.
Does anyone else feel like they're slowly working Chambers back into the running game after all the injuries? I think he has to be a run threat if the team wants to compete with Boise State and the top teams in the conference.

Re: NIU game thread?
Playing not to lose instead of keeping the pedal down and it may cost us the game Going for it on 4th down rather than kicking the field goal was definitely keeping the pedal down. It just didn't work. Disagree they were just trying to run clock. Scoring points keeps the pedal down. And now this se...

Re: NIU game thread?
Terrible 4th down call turns into a huge run for NIU. The defense has been bad outside of the turnovers. Now the coordinator calls a backward pass... So f-word stupid.

Re: Home Opener vs. Montana State
It looked like the bobcats had the first down. Should have stopped the clock long enough for the chains to move and white hat to set the ball. He clearly was a .5 to 1 yard short. Not that clear if vigen and the broadcast announcers thought it might be It wasn't close at all. He was clearly a yard ...

Crum looks like a high school kid at right tackle going against a college athlete. He is getting embarrassed over and over.

Vigen actually ran a competent offense until they scored then he reverted to his turtle shell to protect his lead. Maybe he's calling plays for both teams now.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Sat Sep 04, 2021 4:03 pm Watching these two team and their elementary, remedial offenses is disgusting. Both are vomit inducing

Bailed out by a kid reaching out and barely touching our guy's back. That would have been the ball game if they didn't call that. It's time for Chambers to move to tightend.

Are we done pretending the experience of the offensive line means they're good? They're mediocre talent at best like they have always been.

I'm really surprised Hollister isn't going back to the Bills. Hopefully he lands with a good quarterback and system.

NBA updates
Larry Nance Jr has been traded to Portland from Cleveland.
Justin James was released by the Kings earlier this month due to his contract being guaranteed if they kept him on the roster past August 15. He hasn't been picked up by another team so he may be heading overseas.

Re: Bohl’s deepest team ever
We automatically assume that number of years in our system automatically translates into quality of player. That's not always the case. I don't really believe our O line is just going to dominate JUST because of experience when they weren't able to do it in the past with the same players and when p...

I think we just found out who Wyoming footballs next sugar daddy will be. 43 million a year... Good for him.

Re: First Realignment rumor of the 2020s
The playoff should only accept conference champions. Let there be 8 conferences so these schools that band together to form super conferences significantly lose out on their opportunity for a playoff spot. This will balance conferences in no time at all. Then you'll see Texas in a conference with Wy...

Re: 12 Team Playoff
They need to allow only conference champions to go. Have 12 conferences and go from there. This will split up all these big schools that are forming super conferences and bring back amateur athletics to college football. That is how you fix this mess. The best way IMO is to take every conference ch...

His Hudl profile is loaded up with three point shots. He's definitely a good shooter. He will be an interesting kid to follow.

I wasn't impressed with the first video I saw on YouTube but he looked like a different kid on the second one. His shot isn't the prettiest but he clearly hits a decent percentage. His driving ability will be really helpful to create for all these shooters Linder is loading up on. A two man game wit...

What are the odds it is that kid from Nebraska Omaha? He would be a good get with Williams taking his payday at A&M.
Edit: Akinwole committed to Drake so those odds are zero.

That was a pretty quick transfer. An SEC schook would never actively recruit a guy on scholarship at another school though.
