The CBI would be the worst result and a waste of money I think. Maybe the Pokes can get a do over with an invite to the Las Vegas Tournament.
Air Force didn't win a conference game away from Clune Arena all year...until today.

Re: Is it time for Legerski to.....
I'm not big on finishing second. Maybe Oredigger and HOTR are. The coach down south comes in and wins conference titles and legerski has not won one. Again some fans expectations should be a little higher, not happy with finishing second and lower for 12 years or so. Next year the cowgirls will fin...

Re: Is it time for Legerski to.....
This thread is a joke! Legerski was MWC coach of the year and deservedly so.
This team was picked 7th preseason and finished 2nd. There was no way this team was going to win the tournament without Liv Roberts.

Re: Wyoming Finishes 5th at Big 12 Championships
Umm I believe he placed at VB as a soph, too. I do think Looney is a cut below the others, but I think he's got a chance to be good. I know him personally and he comes from a great family and has a good work ethic. Just to defend Carless's "loss" at the Ron Thon check out this video and y...

Re: Wyoming Finishes 5th at Big 12 Championships
We've also got Cale Davidson, Goddard KS - ranked 13th at 195, Casey Randles, Cour d'alene ID - ranked 18th at 182, and Carless Looney from Laramie at at 182 who has placed at Virginia Beach and Fargo and has wrestled Hastings to several close matches. Help should be coming for the upper weights. W...

Re: Wyoming Finishes 5th at Big 12 Championships
Did not realize that.....great news. Could be a tough squad with Colgan, Ashworth, and Meredith returning and the likes of Bridges, Trout, Olson, and Turner (149 candidate?) crowding the lighter weights. Pokes look to be strong at 125, 133, 141, potentially 149, 157, and 165. Much like this year, t...

Re: Wyoming Finishes 5th at Big 12 Championships
Good write up. The amazing thing is that Oklahoma State put 10 out of 10 guys into the Big 12 finals. That is unbelievable. The only thing that I disagree with is that, realistically, Tribble and Pope won't even be considered for an at-large spot. Colgan deserves an at large spot based on how he per...

Well Pine Bluffs started a new streak, 2 games and counting.
Not to take away from a 50 game win streak which is impressive!

Re: Big 12 Championship
Templeton and Mendenhall both took 3rd. Colgan, Pope, and Ashworth all took 5th. Tribble lost his 5th place bout. Wyoming may have a strong showing for NCAA. Templeman, Mendenhall, Ashworth, Meredith are in the NCAAs. Colgan has a shot at an at-large but it seems that every year any Wyoming at-larg...

At this point i don't think Chuck Wick will ever play for us from what l hear. My coworkers kid is a walk on and it was known that Shaun didn't want his brother to play here. Can somebody remind me again why Shaun wouldn't want his brother playing here? Is he upset that Hill was "allowed"...

Congrats on the big win over CSU!!
With the win last night over MWC leading Colorado State, the Cowgirls move into sole possession of 2nd place and should have the 2nd seed for the MWC tournament. The Cowgirls were picked to finish 8th in the conference and then lost their best player (Liv Roberts) to an ACL season ending injury a fe...

Watch Parties (Basketball)
So I received an email for an invite to a watch party in Denver to watch the Wyoming vs. San Jose State game. My response was that the watch party should be moved to the Arena Auditorium in Laramie. I guess that I just don't get it. What is the point of a Denver watch party for a game that is actual...

Re: AA renovation...
If you have season tickets, and there are 16 home games , and you can physically only make it to 2 or 3, are you really a fan? Do you really care about the program at that point of attendance? Isn't it time, at that point, to downsize life a little, and move on? And if you are a Maury Brown type pe...

Re: AA renovation...
I STRONGLY disagree with this silly idea of losing your tickets for low attendance. This would disenfranchise some of our biggest donors. Hell, Maury Brown's seats are empty at many games, you want to tell Maury and his family (after donating millions that) he should go sit somewhere else? Hmmmm......
