Excellent interview Mr. T. Love reading what Branch has to say about expectations and building the program. Realigning the conference or possibly joining a new conference is good news to hear. Things are good right now for our wrestling program, but Branch definitely has bigger asperations in mind.

Monk is a wrecking ball. I think Intermat had NDSU ranked in the high teens for dual teams this week. All year its been tough for Wyo at 133, 174 & Hwt. McCulleys & Woods bonus points made all the difference. Mendenhall has been on a tear as of late. That was a really tough road win for Wyo....

I know he's split some time w/ Havlic @ 174. Not too many wins coming from the 174 slot during the out of conference dual season, it seemed every dual was against top 10 competition. Not sure how he's fared in tourneys this year.

That was a good win last night. Hard to believe that Pfeifer started the season at 184. Mendenhall has also been wrestling really well. The 125 class in the WWC is tough, I see Rauser is back on the mat for Utah Valley.

They needed this win. What a brutal non conference schedule they wrestled, with such a young team. Air Force will be a good test. Branch will have them ready for the conference tournament.

one would have to argue that hiring Branch as the wrestling coach was also a great hire. Wyo wrestles the best in the nation during the season then shows up at nationals. It's nice not having a season rigged before it starts.....

Disappointing day 2 for the wrestlers - 9 matches wrestled and 8 were lost, although the competition was fierce. Wyoming ended up in 14th place, with Stroh taking 5th @ 185 and Cox 6th @ 125. Logan Stieber was the outstanding wrestler - kid is a manimal.
