Re: When the college football season starts

Sports used to be a great venue where you could high five a hippie, cowboy, barmaid, whatever and cheer on your team without worrying about what the other person believes. It was a reprieve from society and an enjoyable time to not worry about all the bs. Maybe they're right. Maybe they should be d...

Re: WHYoming Now

Wyoming fans are great, they (we) will step up to the plate. Someone out there with deep pockets will put together a very large donation I hope. For the casual fan this may be impossible though. You donate already to CJC, say $1500. Then you donate your season football tickets and such, say $1000. ...

There's no way that Joe Parker and Steve Addazio are surviving this.

The Big Sky is out for football

Announced tonight, the Big Sky presidents are opting out of fall football. More info once the ADs meet, probably going to recommend some fall football scrimmages for the teams in Montana, Idaho, and Utah, and a spring football season. Guessing Montana/Montana State might host some ID/UT teams, or Fr...

Re: MWC to go 8 conf and 2 non conf games

Any rationale to postponing until end of September? Of course any change other than trying to minimize fan exposure is stupid. Can someone name one pro athlete, college athlete or celebrity that tested positive and was hospitalized? If not, we might as well be arguing about a cold. Von Miller said ...

Re: Road Trip Ideas?

Thanks to you both for your feedback. MrTitleist - Was everything in Ennis open? I have a buddy from work who’s kid used to work at the “Opera House” in VA City, he said they shut down for the year though. We were thinking of spending the night at the Rainbow Valley Lodge and then seeing the town a...

Patriot League nixed fall sports today, as did Howard U. Not looking good for anything! Montana is still planning on campus classes for the time being.

Re: Road Trip Ideas?

I can tell you that Ennis is a ton of fun. Just got back from there a couple weeks ago. Swing by Willie's Distillery for a couple drinks then head over the hill to Virginia City and take in the Brewery Follies. Then go visit Kay and Gay at the candy store. Also, that's a ton of windshield time. Day ...

Re: Season Ticket Holders

Current discussions & admin input include... No Tailgating allowed Only 50% attendance (max) allowed If a player from another team gets the virus, how will cancellations & forfeits look This is in line with what I've heard Montana is considering too. I've also heard only family, boosters, sponsors ...

Will UConn even be FBS by then, or will they drop to FCS. They cut a ton of sports today.

Re: COVID-19

Maybe if we had tests we could test everyone.. but we've been failed. My sister is doing COVID testing and she suspects way more people have it, but since there's no tests, no way to know. They literally are not getting tests to give to people. Hard to imagine that reopening a national and global ec...
