Re: quit fooling ourselves

If you're here to troll, you better step up your game a notch or three.

If you're not trolling, I'm glad to see they finally provide Internet access in housing for the mentally challenged.

Re: Running back for this year?

Really glad to have a back with experience. Hope he can stay healthy, as that appears to have been part of why he didn't get a larger workload in the past.

Somebody will need to spell Valladay after those 40-50 yard sprints he's going to make all season. A veteran will do great in that role. :D

Re: Casper scrimmage

The third Cowboy to have a big day rushing was redshirt freshman quarterback Ryan Marquez, who took reps at both quarterback and running back on Saturday. Marquez rushed for 44 yards on 11 carries. I found that piece interesting. He was "just" a walk-on if I remember correctly, but one hell of an a...

Re: Anyone know what happened to...

I think it's been pretty common for college sports in general. If you don't get play time and you see kids coming in after you who play more (and let's be honest, it's because they're a better fit for the team and perform better), transferring makes sense. One of my son's hockey coaches transferred ...

Re: Good Showing for Dewey

Rounds 6 and 7? Weren't people saying Wingard was a lock for second round not that long ago? No, never. You must be thinking Granderson who was widely projected as a third rounder prior to his legal issues. Pretty sure Granderson was generally thought as late first rounder early second, and Dewey w...

AAF Folds https://www.yahoo.com/sports/reports-alliance-of-american-football-folds-just-weeks-into-inaugural-season-165805452.html Sadly not surprised. I'm not sure what the problem was, but I watched three games. Every single one was really boring. Did I just get unlucky, or what? (Last of the thr...

The university just completed the brand new engineering building and research facility. It’s one of the most impressive buildings I’ve seen on any campus.
That's great to hear. It was sorely needed. Hopefully they're paying the faculty well enough to provide quality education as well :)

Re: University of Wyoming to get a new President!

Also, I hope the BOT is not public with the hiring process as they were the last time. This keeps a lot of good & qualified candidates from applying. I am afraid that a lot of good and qualified candidates are going to look at the instability of the President position at the University of Wyoming o...

Maybe they will just start playing soccer
Soccer is one of the sports that have serious concussion problems, for the record. They don't even let kids practice headers anymore.

Re: A growing threat to Football

Ugh. When I read that study about how badly the average offensive lineman's brain is hurt (college-age and up where we're talking 300 lbs guys smacking into each other over and over), I figured something's going to have to change... but how the hell do you change what happens at the line? Those guys...
