I'm not saying Bohl did everything right but obviously in practice something was not right for Chambers to start. It's easy for us to say but coaches aren't going to start a guy if they think another guy is ready and better. Chambers played well last night and it was exciting but he's got a long way...

There's no reason to not start Chambers. For this game anyway. If we win SJSU would be your best bet to save a red shirt and be good enough to win. Heck if we win vs CSU....start Nick Smith vs SJSU.....he will have the incentive to avenge the loss of last year......nothing to lose......

TVW sucked....but this game came down to a defensive breakdown for the first USU score....a special teams breakdown for another....and that pick....all being the difference.

Not that I like Vigen but it comes down to trust. The offense would work with better players but we are limited.....I see a lot of praise for Chambers for the game vs USU but none for Vigen calling plays for Chambers. While Chambers helped us move the ball a little more than we have been, the plays that got us there weren't going to help us out with two minutes left and 80 yards to go. Chambers played decent but it wasn't anything special.....it threw off USU a little bit but it wasn't like he took us on long drives and scored touchdowns.
