Re: Boise Game
Anyone that thought this team was going to be better than 7th or 8th in the conference was wearing their brown and gold glasses. The teams played pre-conference were not good (argument could be made that Oregon State is decent), those teams are a combined 18-49. Don't get me wrong, I'm stoked that w...

Re: Miller Poached by Illinois
Poached? Are we certain that's the case? I'm wondering if we'll see a few more positional coaches poached? Except QB coach, of course. Yes we are sure he was poached to reunite with Bielema. https://www.si.com/college/illinois/football/bart-miller-hired-as-illini-offensive-line-coach As much as we ...

Re: You think BSU is gone?
There just isn't a good fit for Boise outside of the MWC. No way the Pac-12 would ever consider them because of their academics, same with the Big Ten. AAC is a possibility but how much more does that give them? Does the benefit of them joining the AAC offset the detriment to their other programs th...

Re: NFL talent
Agree with Neyor, he is probably the most athletic player on the team. Not sure why Lander is so down on Welch, he is probably top 3 of best hands on the team, easily made the highlight catch of the year for UW (1-hander against New Mexico). Agree with 1016's list for the most part. Coldon and Hearn...

2020 MWC Football All-Conference
3 Wyoming players named to the first team: Valladay, Muma and Cryder
Hoyland named to the 2nd team
Neyor, Gandy and Logan Harris get honorable mention.
Not bad I suppose considering the way the season ended up.

Boise is perennially successful because they are in the top 2 or 3 of money spent on football in the MWC every year... usually #1. Good coaches help, but so does money.

Yeah... calling [#]sh#t on this. The players had no desire to play this game; wanted to end their season and they took the opportunity.
I think people underestimate how much college football players actually hate playing football.

Yeah. She stepped up when her school was in need. My hats off to her. The media made a mountain out of a molehill. Yeah, it's nice to see a woman try playing major Division I-A/FBS football at a power 5 school but still.... I mean this in all seriousness: Why is it nice? Are you saying women should...

Re: How can Bohl be OK with the offense, get new offensive coaches to save the program
We're a TOP team and make our living wearing other teams out at the line of scrimmage. So what does it say when arguably the worst offensive team in the nation who struggles to even have strength and conditioning this season , using their 5th string QB out-possesses us 35-25? Yes, losing Chad Muma ...

Re: Here are my thoughts so far on our new team.
You should all remember I was the first to say Edwards had to go... well so far I like what I’m seeing from our new coaching staff. And they actually coach!! We are lucky to have them. I like this team and can see high potential with them. I also wanted to be a little critical to see where we need ...

Re: New OC
Against one of the worst teams and defenses in the country, we scored only one touchdown and that was a 60 yarder where they had all 11 guys within 7 yards of the line of scrimmage. No touchdowns on sustained drives. One of our field goals was after a turnover where we went three and out but were a...

Re: New Mexico
Could be a hell of a lot worse. Look at Utah State, 2 years ago they were 11-2 and ranked in the Top 25. Today, they are a dumpster fire. No head coach, at best will be 2-5 and they are going to lose a ton of players to transfer. Granted, we aren't winning a conference title this year but it could b...

Re: Milton for a 1 and done?
Ha, hell no. This guy wouldn't even be medically cleared to play at a bunch of programs in the country. He went from being a starter on an undefeated team to a scout team QB, not even a backup. Unless Chambers AND Williams both up and leave, stay the hell away from this guy. I'd be curious to hear ...

Re: WYO at UNLV Game thread
About half of Wyoming's defense is down to practice squad players as well. Outside of Crall, the D line is down to guys that wouldn't have even dressed if not for injuries, opt outs and Covid. Basically, both teams were missing players but UW got it done.

Re: Hindsight, as we all know, is 20/20.
I think that the decision to cancel was maybe the smart decision at the time, given the info available. HOWEVER, I also think that many people in leadership positions at the NCAA, MWC and institutions dropped the ball big time in preparing for the season. They had from March to August to plan, creat...

Deniers: Covid is a cold. Fact: Flu is much more deadly than cold, flu kills 50K+ every year. Also Deniers: why don't we feel bad for those that die from flu, why don't we shut it down and wear masks for them. Fact: despite shutdown and masks AND distancing, 250K+ have died from Covid. 250>50. Still...
