Re: New coach press conference.....
We'll see if the Vigen fanboys are right or those of us who questioned his ability as OC are right. I like Vigen as a person and as a coach just not an OC. The offense had a weird vibe under him and I think the offense will improve drastically by eliminating that vibe--not eliminating the playbook....

Re: Who are we? Where are we heading?
Nobody is accepting anything as an infinite condition....I hate that the second anybody breathes a word that the results achieved on the field might have an explanation beyond the abilities of the current HC....it gets shouted down with some inane call to "demand excellence". Every coach ...

Re: Who are we? Where are we heading?
Well...I guess there is room for all of us in this crazy world. I hope you get what you want out of your fanhood. I know I've had a great time watching the 'boys the last 5 years. I'm on the same page. Of course we would all love conference and national championships and great bowl games every year...

Re: New coach press conference.....
Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't sound like much is changing offensively. Polasek made it a strong point that the team will be using all 53 yards side to side. Wyoming's offense under Vigen did not typically pull defenders away from the line of scrimmage, and, rarely moved the ball outside of the...

Re: New coach press conference.....
Polasek on Chambers "he has it" comparing Chambers to Carson Wentz, Josh Allen and Jordan Lynch (Northern Illinois). I've always thought the same thing. Chambers brings a passion to the game and is the ultimate competitor (similar to Allen). Although I've always compared Chambers to Tim T...

Re: Who are we? Where are we heading?
I agree with 307bball on this one. The coach has relatively little to do with strength of schedule. You can only beat who you are scheduled to play. Bohl won more games over the past few than Glenn did so Bohl gets the nod. For sure. Hopefully suds, bsu, and maybe nv leave. That should really impro...

Damn man, that's terrible. The wind is supposed to be pretty bad today too so not the best day to enjoy the outdoors. I'd probably drive to Steamboat or something.Spartanmike15 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 12:59 am I drove 18 hours and was already in Laramie for 3 hours before I found out the games were cancelled.

Re: Who are we? Where are we heading?
As I said once before, due to a variety of factors, I think we might be stuck with Bohl until his contract expires. Let's hope he finally gets the program rolling. And hope that Bohl doesn't get another contract extension until he does get it rolling. Bohl was already extended through the 2024 seas...

Re: Utah State games postponed
How dare our coach put the safety and well being of his players first.....I want to watch a ball go in the hoop!!! Did you read the thread, moron? No additional cases were detected after testing multiple times, but they decided not to play anyway for some reason. There was no danger. How cautious d...

Re: Wyoming Wrestling Has Big Day
He has been out since the Air Force dual a few weeks ago. I’ve assumed he has been hurt but haven’t seen an official release. He is ranked around the 14 mark in most rankings.

Wyoming Wrestling Has Big Day
https://gowyo.com/news/2021/2/14/wyoming-wrestling-crowns-four-champions-at-cowboy-challenge.aspx Wright, Hastings, Samuelson and Buchanan all pull upsets in the finals. This is big for Big 12 seeding. Buchanan is putting himself into National Title contention having beat former #1 Noah Adams twice ...

Re: Utah State games postponed
It was a positive test with someone on their staff that’s not a coach or player. Contact tracing turned up no other positives. Every coach and player on Utah state has since had multiple negatives. We’re being giant pussies and I hate it Yep. It's not our brand of competition. Not too sure what to ...

Re: Tim Polasek
If he has one or two good years, he's gone to a p5 team again. Or maybe Bohl hangs it up and he becomes Wyoming's head coach. Bohl won't be coaching very many more years. Vigen was slated to be the guy in waiting but it became apparent that he had very little chance for that (so he went to Montana ...
