Former Wyoming head coach Pat Dye

Passed away today. Obviously didn't leave a great impression when he left Wyoming for Auburn saying "all they care about is rodeo and not football" in Wyoming.

Re: Wyoming Adds Cal Poly to 2024 Football Schedule

I would have to agree with the 2015 team being the worst Wyo team in the "modern" era. Vic coached in a much tougher MWC and brutal OOC games.

Bohl has had the advantage of competing in a weaker MWC and a balanced OOC schedule

NCAA is considering football games without fans...

They have reached out to CSU for advice on how to do it.

Edwards was a class act and appreciate his time here at UW. Glad to see him get another job so quickly. Wish nothing but the best for him.

Re: Will there be football this fall?

I doubt we see any Football or sports until 2021. Which sucks.. I need some sports in my life! I'd even take Auto Racing or Golf as these would be the best "social distancing" sports that probably could continue.

Re: Edwards Dismissed

I can tell you one thing, if I were king for a day, I would let Burman know his job is on the line and if he swings and misses with this hire, he is gone, gone, gone. Burman has been able to hire more Head coaches than many AD's combined. So I doubt his job is on the line. Burman has put himself in...

There is about as much chance for uniform change as Bohl changing his hairstyle

A good university president understands that athletics (specifically football & basketball) are the front porch of the university. Let's hope he understands that.

Re: 2020 schedule

I think it's because of the new TV deal, those negotiations took some time which in turn caused the delay in getting the conference schedule completed. Also the change from Learfield to JMI could be one of the issues as well.

Re: Clemson Owes Wyoming $1.1 Million For Backing Out of 2021 Game

So tired of these fb posts people saying Clemson is scared, NO we saved ourselves from a major butt whoopin and injuries, move along Let's hope the team doesn't think the same way you do. As a player I always wanted a chance to play the best competition. I doubt Clemson was scared but you never kno...

Re: Clemson Owes Wyoming $1.1 Million For Backing Out of 2021 Game

To be the best you gotta play the best! Although a long shot to win I still would have loved to see this game happen. Burman has done a great job with scheduling, we have to give him credit for that. Mizzou, Texas, Utah. Wyo will still get some opportunities to play and hopefully win against quality...

Umm, I am sure they are getting rid of them because they got new equipment. Additionally - weight training science has changed tremendously in the past 20 years where 100 pound plus dumbbells are being phased out.
I bet you’re real fun at parties

Re: Something to think about

I don't think Bohl even considers CU. It would not be a cultural fit for him. His style also does not fit a PAC school.

Mich St would have been a much better fit for a guy like Bohl.

Didn't have a good feeling about him staying committed and that confirms it. Was keeping my fingers crossed but losing our DC and other defensive staff didn't help.

Re: Burman named to the College Football Playoff Selection Committee

Hope the MWC is in position to have a team in the CFP sometime in the coming years (pipe dream) . That would be cool You never know. If the CFP expands to 8, 12, or even 16. Just get in the top 8/12/16. Having two adversaries on the committee would be an advantage if that were to happen. We need to...

I would love to see Rocky on this staff. The experience and recruiting advantage alone is worth it. I however don't see Rocky coming on board at this time.

Re: With Mike Leach leavin....

Rolovich got the job, whew I'm hoping whoever gets the Hawaii job hires Vigen!!!! Doubt Vigen's offense would fit well with the scheme Hawaii likes to run. They probably want a coach who will stick with the run-n-shoot. Already hearing rumors of a June Jones return? The offensive transition for WSU...

Re: Rocky Long leaving SDSU

Not the worst transition for SDSU, Hoke back in charge. If he can keep the success he had from his first HC stint, they will be a challenger every year. Hoke seems mediocre. He's got a career record of 78-72. He's not the coach Long is. That's for sure . Obviously a stupid move on SUDS part letting...
